Great day night packageI've experienced lots of these packages and this one's best yet!
almost a year ago I received the sales call and accepted the 4day 3nights deal for $299. A month ago I made a reservation, when I told my wife 5 minutes later she told me that there was a family get together for a wedding anniversary and the dates didn't work. I tried to call back, all lines accepted voice mail only, left message and emailed asking for a change of dates. Apr 3 weeks later I got a response advising me there would be a $150 charge and even though I tried to change within 5 minutes that charge won't be waved.
You probably can't help me, but I thought I let you know anyway
After careful consideration and research I decided to purchase a package with Your vacations destination. [redacted] help reassure me that I was in good hands. But once I purchased the package that is when their true colors shown through. As a salesmen of sorts myself I knew the risks and I understand the over emphasis on the front end (sales). Long story short I purchased my package along with my brother (two packages) on Dec. 14 2014 with dates already set to travel to Vegas but as of today Jan 27th 2015 we still cannot get a hold of their "booking department". They have yet to return my phone calls (my records show that I have called them 18 times. The one time I did get a hold of someone they said they would look into our dates of travel and get back to us, that was 2 weeks ago.
You can purchase a package and not "worry" about your information getting stolen or misused but the service they promise is not the service you will receive.
If you still want to purchase a package with them here are some TIPS we learned along the way:
-The dates you will want to book WILL be a convention week (at least that's what they will tell you when giving your vacation dates).
-Yourvacationsdestinations and the "booking department" ARE the same company despite what they tell you
-There will always be an up-charge for the hotels you actually want to stay in.
-Even if you give them your top 3 hotels preferences (from the list they provide) they will book you in a hotel downtown off the strip in an unheard of hotel that they will claim is the "newest".
-The 60 minute presentation in actually 90 minutes (read the fine print)
-If you do not qualify age, income, partner status, etc you will be charged fully for the retail price of you vacation package.
After 6 weeks of trying to book our hotel and the above details we are forced to cancel.
If they tried even half as hard to book our hotel as they did to sell us the package we would be satisfied costumers.
