Dear Revdex.com, I'm sorry that Ms. [redacted] had such a rough experience. However, I'd like to clarify and dispute a few points in her "Statement of the Problem"...
Ms. [redacted] did not contact us in April 2013 or the intervening years as she indicated. The first communication we received was on 08/25/2015. On that date, we informed Ms. [redacted] that she did in fact "renew" her subscription through a subscription agency [redacted] on 09/05/13 and 09/10/2014. We informed her that agencies only send us a portion of the full subscription amount (in her cases we were remitted $7.98 per year). We did cancel her subscription and told her that it appeared [redacted] was automatically renewing her subscription. She needed to contact them to stop this process and see if they would honor her refund request. Then on 09/27/2015 we received another "renewal" from the agency. Ms. [redacted] called us back when issues began to arrive again. Again, she was told to contact the agency. We cancelled the subscription again. In a follow up call, Ms. [redacted] informed us that [redacted] was refunding her the 09/27/2015 charge but were not going to refund her 2013 or 2014 charges. She wanted us to refund her $49.90 for those two years. We said no. Now, on 11/23/2015, we received a letter of complaint asking us to refund her money again. With all due respect, Ms. [redacted]'s complaint is with [redacted]. We have no way of knowing if Ms. [redacted] spoke to [redacted] until we told her to do so on 08/25/2015. We mailed issues for 2 years without a single communication. Additionally, based on the limited knowledge (as provided by Ms. [redacted]) we have about [redacted], its our assumption she never communicated with them until on or after 08/25/2015. We will not be refunding the $49.90 or our remit amount of $15.96 ($7.98 x 2). If Ms. [redacted] or the Revdex.com contacts the agency and does manage to get refunded for the 2013 and 2014, my "account" will be debited the $15.96 for her refund after two years of successful delivery (and associated expenses). We will most certainly not be "refunding" her twice. Sincerely, [redacted] P.S. Please reply acknowledgement of this email. [redacted] * [redacted] * [redacted] / [redacted]
