*** *** This email is my rejection in regard to Michael K***'s, owner of Lakewood Manor, response to my previous complaints.I will outline what MrK*** said, and my responses will be bolded.In MrK*** response he stated the following:6/21/16Phone call received from tenant service ticket made.This is correctBut I did not speak with MrK*** himselfI spoke with a woman named Kathy.6/21/@ 12:26Email received from tenant.This is correct, in my email I stated the following:*** *** Apt ***I spoke with a Kathy, I want to speak with the owner of the buildingsIf nothing is done to end the marijuana smell in the apartment, I will be contacting the Revdex.comAlso, due to the smell, we are unable to use the smaller bedroomThat is the worst area and I believe someone had a cat at one time because the carpet stinksI have already verbalized this complaint and nothing was doneWe are paying for a 2bd and can only use one roomNone of my complaints have been addressedWe even still have a broken screen door and that was reported in MarchThanks so much.6/23/@ 1:03pmAddressed issues with tenantAt this point there is nobody else issuing complaints pertaining to a marijuana odorI sent the onsite manager to verify the smell/odorNo smell was foundThe tenant was told if she could pinpoint the smell to contact authorities and log a complaint. MJ Kelly had carpet cleaned twice and we are contacting the cleaning company again to have yet another cleaning performedWe advised her to contact us if the cleaning company hadn't contacted her within a week. I received an email that stated the following:"If you can pinpoint the marijuana smell we will contact the authorities and have them prosecutedWe had your carpets cleaned twice and am contacting to do them again in hopes that this is resolved."The carpets were not done at any point in time after we moved into the apartments. I also placed a phone call into the office on 6/23/at 3:06pmAt 7:27 that evening *** *** Carpet cleaners contacted me about coming in to clean the carpet and that was scheduled for 7/1/16.6/23/@ 1:23pmAnother email was received from tenant stating she was only able to use one of the two bedroomsAt this point the property manager had stopped by several times to address the issue but no one was home and no one returned his or Mj Kelly calls.This is falseThe email about only being able to use one room was sent on 6/21/The property manager never stopped by between the hours of 6am-1:00pm and between the hours of 4:00pm-11:00pm because those were the hours when someone was present in the householdAlso, no phone calls were received from received from the property manager and no notes were left were the tenant by property manager on 6/23/I, *** *** DID speak with someone at MJ Kelly on 6/23/at 3:06pm as stated above. 6/28/16 Correspondence received from property manager stating that messages were left with no responseMj Kelly representative visited the property and was unable to smell any odor of marijuana smellThe manager didn't detect any smells either.This claim is also falseI, *** ***, received NO phone calls from Larry, property manager, from 6/21/16-6/28/The only time I spoke with the onsite property manager was two weeks prior about fixing my screen door that had been broken since March and he stated it would be done tomorrow and that didn't happen until three weeks later after continuously calling Mj KellyI also was not notified that anyone visited the property and no one stopped to discuss my concerns with me in person.6/29/@ 4:03pmTenant contact MJ kelly stating she wasn't an investigator and refused to contact the authoritiesShe is working long shifts and trying to plan her weddingThe carpet cleaning company continuing to schedule a time for cleaning the carpet and she refused them access.This statement is also false. I emailed Mj Kelly at 4:03pm 6/29/stating the following:"I received your messageI am not an investigator, its not my job to pinpoint who is doing itBut my fiance and I both feel like it is the couple across the hallway from usI work long shifts and I am trying to plan my wedding which is less than days awaySome days I work 2:30am-3pm and come home and sleepSome days I work 6am-8pm and turn around and come home and sleepI will be home for a short amount of timeon friday, that is when the person who is cleaning the carpet in one bedroom is comingThanks."Mj Kelly stated I refused to contact authorities, when I infact already had and have record of thatThey also stated the carpet cleaning company was still trying to schedule the cleaning when the cleaning had been scheduled on 6/23/for Friday, July 1st and that appointment was never changed or rescheduled. 6/25/16Attempts to resolve issues were made but tenant hasn't been at home, nor arranged to provide access for the cleaning company.This statement is also falseThe appointment for the carpet cleaning was made for July 1st at 9amThat appointment was scheduled on 6/23/and was NEVER changedI kept my scheduled appointment forFriday, 7/1 @ 9am and was home that day and was present when the cleaning took pleaseCarpet cleaner stated to me at that time that the carpet did smell and after cleaning he advises to wait for a hot humid day and see if the smell still arises. 7/6/16Tenant left voicemail with Mj Kelly she was upset because her rent check was cashedThis was a rent payment that was due and the check was processed.Tenant left another message stating the check was postdated, tenant instructed financial institution to reverse payment.Tenant left another message stating MJ kelly was only interested in the money(rent was due)This claim is trueI sent Mj kelly a postdated check and said I would pay a late fee if need be because I wouldn't be paid until the date listed. Tenant left a message stating only interested in the money is false, the only time I have left messages stating that or stating that on the phone to a representative of the company is when they wouldn't resolve my issues for meI never said anything about the rent and this complaint has nothing to do with the rent payment. 7/11/& 7/12/16The property manager had left several messages for the tenant with no response from the tenant.This claim is false. On 7/11/I worked from 6:30am-8pmDuring that time frame I received no phone calls from the property manager (have phone records to prove this.) No notes were left on the door that the property manager had been there that dayOn 7/12/I was off work and was home most of the dayNo phone call was received from the property manager and during the time I was home the property manager never knocked on the door. On 7/12/I sent this email to Mj Kelly:"No one came to fix the window or screen doorNo one measured the carpet and our apartment sticks of marijuana for the second time tonightDo your job as an owner, do what you said you would doI will be reporting to the authorities and letting them know that you have said you would do something and have failed too."7/13/@ 10:05amI, *** ***, received this message back from Mj Kelly's office."In regards to "no one measured the carpet" we were going to have it measured if the carpet cleaning did not resolve the problemLarry is looking at this againHe has left numberous notes and messages to contact him with no response."My response back to mj kelly was as follows:"He left one note over a week ago and you told me on the phone last week that they were coming to measure the carpets because we had spoke and I told you the carpets still had an odor to them and you told me you would replace them."I also made phone call attempts to speak with Mike himself on 7/13/at 10:08am, 10:09am, and 10:10amTwo of the three times I was hung up on by Kathy and the third time I spoke with an Adam who was also very rude and stated he would tell Mike to get in contact with me when he came in. On 7/13/at 10:12am I also contacted Larry, the onsite manager, and asked him why he stated he left several notes and voicemails when he infact did notHe admitted that he didn't do so and that only one note was left.All of these times and call dates are proven by phone records that can be sent if needed.On 7/13/@ 4:22pm I received a call from *** ** *** stating they would be out to measure the carpets to get new carpet in the bedroom for us. 7/14/16Property manager stated that he was able to use a ladder to access patio door to make the repairs to the screen door and windowDue to scheduling issues with the tenant, the carpet company was finally able to get the measurements for a new carpet, this after numerous scheduled appointments.This claim is also falseThe manager did use a ladder to access patio door to make repairs but it was not done on this dateThe carpet company called me on 7/13/and stated they would be out to measure the room for new carpet, this phone call was the first and last phone call I ever received from the carpet companyThere were no previous appointments scheduled to measure the carpetingI received a call from the onsite manager on 7/14/asking if it was okay if he let them in to measure the carpet, I replied with that is fine whatever needs done and to let me know once this had been doneOn 7/14/I received another call from the onsite manager who then left a voice message stating the carpet was measured and he wanted to make sure it was the small bedroom before the company leftI called him back immediately from a work phone and stated yes it is the small bedroom that needs done and thank you. 7/14/16MJ Kelly informed that the carpet has been replaced, the carpet installer indicated no small what so ever in carpet removed and carpet was in excellent condition. This claim is also falseThe carpet was not replaced on 7/14/The carpet was replaced on 7/19/in the morningI was home from work when they were doing the carpet and I have pictures dated 7/19/of the carpet being torn up from the floors to show the disgusting mess underneath the carpet on the floor boards. 7/14/16Property manager states there were numerous cleaning people and mj kelly rep whom didnt detect any smell of marijuanaThe carpet removed had no level of odor or stains on the carpet.Tenant has made numerous claims regarding carpet and odors and has not agreed to pay for any expenses endured by the owner.This claim is falseThere wasn't an Mj Kelly rep on site the day my carpet was replaced and the carpet WAS NOT replaced on 7/14/Larry was not even present when the carpet was being replacedTwo people from the carpet company and my fiance and I were the only people presentThe carpet company did express to us that the carpet DID have an odor and we were right in having it replaced. None of my claims about the carpet or any other claims for that matter have been falseI have had numerous guests over to my apartment and every guest is a witness to the carpet smell in that roomEach person will tell you that the door to that room stayed shut because it smelled like cat pee and that my daughters bed was in the master bedroom because the small bedroom wasn't a good living conditionAs for paying expenses, I will NOT pay anything because the carpet did indeed need replaced and if need be I can have my witnesses all write statements regarding that roomMichael K*** never ONCE came to see the apartment and the bedroom for himselfHas he, he would have known first hand that the carpet did need replaced and that the room had a disgusting odor to itAs a professional and an apartment owner, he should've made an attempt to see the carpet for himself if it was this big of an issue or he didn't believe that the carpet needed changed. 8/10/16I, *** ***, have had no contact with Mj Kelly since the carpet being replacedNo one has called me about the carpet not needing replaced or that my claims were falseI believe they are making these statements because I contacted the Revdex.com and they are trying to cover themselves by playing me out to be a liarIf the carpets truly did not need replaced, I would have been contacted before nowIf they believed my claims were false, they would have contacted me before now, not after I contacted the Revdex.com. I placed a phone call to Mj Kelly Realty on 8/10/@ 10:51am and asked to speak with Michael K***Once he was on the phone I stated who I was and also stated I would be contacting someone for legal advice since he wanted to make me out to be a liarHe then stated he would be contacting his attorney for the money I owe when, when asked what money he said for the carpet that didn't need replaced (no one ever said anything about this before this phone call.) He then stated that I was a liar and there was never a marijuana smell and that something was going on hereI said there was a marijuana smell and that I have the documentation of me calling the non-emergency police number to prove itHe also stated he came here personally and investigated apartments in this building I found that to be untrue as well because I went and spoke with other tenants to ask if they ever received a visit from Michael K*** and they all responded with no we didn't. Once again I, *** ***, reject this response from MJ Kelly realty. I will not be made out to be a liar when I have phone records, emails, and statements proving everything I have said to be true.Thank you for your time,*** ***

manager to verify the smell/odorNo marijuana smell was foundThe tenant was told if she could pin point the smell to contact the authorities and log a complaint.M.JKelly had her carpet cleaned twice and we are contacting the cleaning company again to have yet another cleaning performedWe advised her to contact us if the cleaning company hadn't contacted her within a week.6/23/@1:23Another email from tenant was received stating that she was only able to use one of the two bedrooms even though the carpets had been cleaned twiceAt this point the property manager had stopped by several times to address the issue but no one was home and no one returned his call or MJ Kelly Realty calls.6/28/16Correspondence received from property manager stating that messages were left with no responseM.JKelly representative visited the property and was unable to smell any odor of marijuana smellThe property manager was unable to detect any trace of odor either.6/29/4:03Tenant contact M.JKelly stating she wasn’t an investigator and refused to contact the authoritiesShe was working long shift trying to plan her weddingThe carpet cleaning company continuing to schedule a time for cleaning the carpet and she refused them access.The property manager attempted to stop again without success as there is no one at home.Voice message-6/25/16Tenant left message stating that none of the issues had been addressed.Attempts to resolve issues were made but tenant hasn't been at home, nor arranged to provide access for the cleaning company.Voice message 7/6/16Tenant left message with MJKellyShe was upset because here rent check had been cashedThis was a rent payment that was due and the check was processed.Another message was received stating that the check was postdated which shouldn't have been sentTenant instructed the financial institution to reverse payment.Voice mail 7/6/16Tenant left another message stating that M JKelly was only interested in money{Rent was due)7/12/@ 1:A.M.Another email was received stating no one had arrived to repair the window or the screen doorHowever tenant refused property manager access to make necessary repairsThe marijuana smell continues to persistTenant stated that she would be calling the authorities to report the issue concerning the marijuana(This is what M.JKelly had instructed in the beginning).7/& 7/12The property manager had left message several times for tenant with no response from the tenant7/13/@ 10:08Tenant left message stating that only one note was left for her by the property manager concerning the carpet cleaningTenant stated she was contacting the Revdex.com and Housing Authority.7/14/16Property manager stated that he was able to use a ladder to access patio door to make the repairs to the screen door and windowDue to scheduling issues with tenant, the carpet company was finally able to get the measurements for a new carpet, this after numerous scheduled appointments.7/14/16M.JKelly informed the carpet has been replaced, the carpet installer indicated no smell what so ever in carpet removed and carpet was in excellent conditionWindow has been repaired, as well as screen door repaired.Property manager states there were numerous cleaning people and M.JKelly representative whom didn't detect any smell of marijuanaAs we know, unless caught in the act it is difficult to impossible to prosecute.The carpet that was removed had no level of odor or stains on the carpet.Tenant has made numerous claims regarding carpet and odors and has not agreed to pay for any erroneous expenses endured by owner
