we are sorry that you are having an unfortunate situationWe tow over vehicles a month without issueThe driver that
handled your vehicle has years experience, and has an excellent work ethicAudi has specific towing instructions, and they were all followedAs a towing company, we follow manufacturer towing recommendation as to properly handle all vehicles we encounter
You have stated in the first paragraph of your review that your front bumper had previous damage prior to the tow, and the recommendation from the shop was to have it replaced prior to towDamage the bumper sustained prior to tow is an unknown factorThere are multiple scenarios that could have weakened the structural integrity of your bumperThis means that this damage that you have pictured could have been present, yet concealed, prior to tow or service
Although the driver that cared for your vehicle does not recall seeing this damaged post towPrior to tow the driver did note on his tow ticket that there was a crack in your front bumper along with the missing paintYour pre-tow picture does not clearly make visible the effected area
There are many indications that this damage was not caused by towing operationsAs you have stated your vehicle was towed from the rear, this means the winch cables and chains/straps where connected to the rear of your vehicleThere would have been one point of securement placed on the front of your vehicleThat would not line up with the damage doneI would be happy to demonstrate this for youIf you bring your vehicle here I will have the same driver place your vehicle on the bedYou will be able to see for yourself that this hole in your bumper was NOT caused by the loading or unloading of your vehicleI will be able to also look at your bumper in person, and maybe be able to help you figure out what has happenedBut, I am confident that this was not because of a towing related issueAnd, as *** and Blue Eagle Towing are two different companies I can not speak to, nor negotiate or petition on their behalf
In conclusion, *** we are sorry that your experience was negative, and that your situation is burdensomeBut, we simply can not pay for damages that were not caused by usWe would be glad to demonstrate, and lend an opinion
OFFER:
we are willing to show you and demonstrate the manufacturers recomendation for towing you vehicle, but we can not pay for damages that were NOT caused by negilgence of Blue Eagle Towing or its representatives
As we resonably followed all towing procedures outlined by the manufacturer
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/04/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I received this same blanket response on my Facebook review of this companyThey claim that "prior to tow the driver did note on his tow ticket that there was a crack in your front bumper along with the missing paint." This is absolutely falseI have a copy of the invoice and there is no mention of thatWhen I asked them about the discrepancy, they now claim the tow driver's remarks were a "mental note."
Additionally, I find it odd that the tow driver can now recall some cracks and missing paint on my bumper, but failed to notice the gaping hole they claim they have no knowledge of and could not be responsible forThe tow company claims the driver took extra time and care to tow my vehicle, but I have a hard time believing he wouldn't notice a huge hole in the front end of my vehicle if he was actually paying attention and taking mental notes
If the tow company would like to look at my vehicle and try to form an opinion, I would be open to that ideaHowever, I don't believe having them try to demonstrate how they towed my vehicle would be productive as any mistake the tow driver likely made would assuredly not occur in the presence of a customer or management
The tow company has provided me with unlikely scenarios that they believe may have damaged my vehicle, but they continue to deny that their driver may have made a mistakeWhat is more likely to happen, a tow driver taking a shortcut and causing damage, or the wind mysteriously breaking holes in a bumper?

*** *** is naming two companies with the potential damage of his vehicle without any proof that either company was the liable party to the damageHe himself admits that the bumper was broken from an auto accident prior to either company having possession of the vehicleIt is the belief that the damage being claimed by Mr*** was caused by his previous collissionThis damage was not caused by any negligence by Blue Eagle Towing or it's representativesThere has been no factual claims, or evidence to lead any resonable person to any other conclusionBlue Eagle Towing can not be held liable for any damages that occured previously, and nor can it be held liable for any damages that occured that were not direct result of negligence by Blue Eagle Towing or it's representatives

There is no offer to repair or replace any thing claimed by Mr***As he is a valued customer, if in deed his vehicle in question needs towed to a repair shop, we will offer him a wholesale tow in apreciation of his continued patronage

The vehicle in question was parked in a private, permit only, parking lot. Under Indiana Code 9-22-1, this constitutes abandonment. The abandoned vehicle was impounded on...

10/10/2015. Upon paying the impound fee to retrieve the vehicle, the customer walked straight to the front of the vehicle and complained of damage to the bumper. She then pulled the grill out of the bumper and claimed we had damaged it. Blue Eagle Towing is not responsible for existing damage to vehicles. In addition per Indiana Code 9-22-1-32, a towing company or storage yard are not responsible for damage to a vehicle occurring during the removal or storage of an abandoned vehicle.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As I acknowledged in my original complaint, I am well aware that I parked my car in a private parking lot that I was not authorized to park in. I paid my fee to Blue Eagle for doing so. Additionally, as stated in my original complaint, I WITNESSED a car being damaged the night of 10/10/15 which was very alarming and provoked me to check my front bumper at the time of pickup. To say that a towing company will not be held responsible for any damages that occur, while the vehicle is in their possession, is at the very least irresponsible and bad for business. So basically you can damage a car, no matter the type or value, and not be held responsible or accountable for your actions. Then proceed to accuse the owner of damaging their own car and expect to walk away Scott free. Still apart of the Revdex.com, providing excellent services, and making money with no responsibility whatsoever. That is one of the craziest things I've ever heard.
I hand washed my vehicle earlier that day, October10th, and have pictures to prove that no damage existed on my front bumper, at that time. I also have pictures that were taken of my front bumper at the time I retained my vehicle that shows the damage. In fact, you can clearly see the gravel residue in the picture that was taken outside of your office building. I do not live near or drive on gravel driveways or streets so it could have only came from your lot which is indeed completely gravel filled. Again, I have 3 other witnesses willing to confirm that another vehicle was being damaged as it was being taken off of one of your flatbeds the same night, within less than an hour, of when my car was towed. I am more than willing to provide pictures of before and after my tow along with written statements from the individuals that witnessed the other car being damaged.
I would not purposfully park my car in an unauthorized lot and accuse your company of damaging my car if indeed it did not happen or in an attempt to have you cover the cost of any damages that I caused. That is a beyond ridiculous accusation on your part and is quite frankly very disrespectful and speaks volumes about your level of integrity and/or morals. Additionally, I had no access to my car to inflict any damages while it was on your lot, so saying that it was already damaged is the farthest from the truth. In all honesty, I am a very busy single mother and do not have the time to waste by creating lies just to get my bumper fixed. And again, after speaking with Larry, the owner, he stated it was Andy's, his employee, word against mine. So I'm being called a liar because I noticed visible damage to my car inflicted by one of his drivers. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced and will proceed with a civil suit and/or filing a claim to have all expenses reimbursed via my insurance company should you decline to again, fix your mistake. Understandably things happen as we are all human. I'm willing to work with your company and continue to set aside my valuable time to find a reasonable conclusion to this issue. However I am NOT willing to pay for the damage that your company inflicted upon my vehicle.
