the company does quick fixes on my car and send me on my way, the check engine light is always on, they do not care about the vehicle they sold me.the company does quick fixes on my car and send me on my way, the check engine light is always on, they do not care about the vehicle they sold me. I have expressed multiple issues with the car and they do not take the time to figure out whats wrong. my car has had the check engine light on since three days after I bought it. my vehicle still stops in the middle of the road its hard to accelerate,it drives difficult at times, its excessive rust in the vehicle, I asked was it a flood vehicle and they told me no, so I am not sure as to whether it is or not. they have horrible customer service, the salesman has yelled at me in front of other customers about my concerns with the car he told me that, "you are going to stop bringing this car in every day, I gave you the guys number to fix the car, so its your problem. HE then took my car to see what the problem was he had informed me that it was a vaccuum hose leak, and that it was fixed. I drove the car five miles before the check engine light came back on. Prior to that my starter went out and they replaced it. About a week after that my cv axle needed replacement because it was rotted m and ms on site mechanic verified that and the salesman "[redacted]" told me that he was not going to fix it" and that I could do it my self I have only had this vehicle for three weeks its christmas day 2015 as im writing you this complaint. I have constantly tried to get them to fix all of the necessary problems with my vehicle because the check engine light will not go off, and I dont want those problems come inspection time. I also suspect that something may be wrong with my fuel pump. they are not hnest salesman and I regret doing business with them because of how they do not properly service the vehicles and how they treat their customers. I want my vehicle to be fully functional without any problems if I am going to continue to give them my money and services. I do not need a lemon vehicle. I feel like this dealership sells lemons cars and I do not want to be a victim of that.Desired Settlementi would like for all the current and future problems that could cause my car to fail be thouroughly investigated and repaired. I do not want to go to them every day about the same or new problems with car. I would like a fully functional vehicle that I wont be afraid to drive or travel long distances in, in addition being discriminated against or retailiated against, for my complaintsBusiness Response I am the Owner at M&M Auto Plex. I would first like to apologize for this issue that Ms. [redacted] may have had with her vehicle. Ms. [redacted] had the option of purchasing a newer vehicle from us that would have been financed with a finance company and would have came with a service warranty. She did not choose this option. She chose to purchase the cheapest vehicle on the lot that was sold as is. We do everything we can to satisfy our customers that is fair to the business and fair to the individual. Ms. [redacted] had no money invested in this vehicle. No money was put down towards this vechile. She did trade a Saturn in that we had to tow in because it was inoperable. I see nothing in her complaint stating that the motor is blown or the transmission is out. Every issue that Ms. [redacted] is stating is regular maintenance for a vehicle. When a person purchase a vehicle "as is" they are liable for anything after the purchase date. M&M Auto Plex went above and beyond for Ms. [redacted] on her vehicle. We can only do so much when a customer comes to us with no money. To resolve this issue we can take the vehicle back and kindly give back her vehicle that was traded in. I will also give her the option to purchase a vehicle with low miles that will come with a service contract. Consumer Response I didnt choose the vehicle the owner recommended the vehicle that I have now. There was a thousand dollar credit put towards my trade in vehicle that was still accepted by m and m auto plex.so regardless it was sort of payment that they can still profit and capitalize off of whether it be junking the vehicle or fixing it to resale. either way it was some sort of payment. this company has not once called me to offer a better deal. I like the car I just wish that the real problems with it would be fixed. I was not giving the option of purchasing a newer vehicle not once. my car still cuts on and off frequently and that problem was supposed to had been solved by the company. However my check engine light shoul fnot be on four days after operating the vehicle if it was properly maintainced to begin with, and that was an issue that I constanly compained about as well as numerous other complaints. I will continue to pay off my vehicle andhave the problems fixed myself. I took my car back numerous timesmi nregards to the issues and everytime the car is returned back to me I have the same issues with car shutting off and the check engine light still on.
