Thank you for your letter dated June 29th, in reference to a complaint by a guest [redacted] regarding about price for the room rented on June 23, First I would like to apologize about the rate charged to the guest and we admit our mistake, but charged rate was incorrect, the actual rate was $plus tax per room for adults/bedsSince I was out of town, during this occur, I had a help from one of my friend who was at the front desk during this time and he was not aware of the rate hike and also during this time period the phone lines were not working at all because the lightnings in the area and also the power were on/off during the time course and I could not contact the office at allBut anyway, I know that he had overcharged the guest by $plus tax, which comes to $and I am willing to give her a refund of $on her charge card, therefore please confirm this by return mailAlso regarding her comments over not honoring a reservation, if the phone systems is not working due to area lightnings and thunderstorms we have no way to check the reservation, and the desk clerk sold the rooms to walk in customer/guests Anyway, we admit that he has sold some rooms at this price and we will refund all the guest overcharged with the differenceAlso about her comments that we rented a room with no phones, cable or internet service, this problem was in whole town of [redacted] and the nearby town areas and the guest was fully aware of this situation and the lightnings and thunderstorm is beyond our control in which we couldn't do anythingFinally once again we apologize and agree to our desk clerk mistakesOnce again I thank you for getting the matter to our attention Regards, [redacted] ***
In reference to your letter dated 9/15/regarding complaint from [redacted] about her reservation for Aug 21st, Regarding about the room rate and extra adult charges are as The copy of the booking is attached with the rate plus tax and this was for Adults/Childrens, but the childrens and extra person will be subject to a extra charge, at checking their were total of Adult & Childrens and their ages were 11/13/ So, we requested the guest for extra children who were over & years to pay extra $each plus taxChildren under years are free and years plus have to pay extra as mentioned Also, we would like to inform the guest that we could not hold rooms without credit card approval after pm, because most of time it happens credit card got declined, so we have to run the credit card by pm and get it approved The card was only used one time and not different occassions as claimed by the card holder As regards to prepayment charged, we haven't run the card befor 21st, August the card was used only once All the bookings we receive from [redacted] and [redacted] are subject to charge on the date of arrival and any declined card reservation we not supposed to hold the rooms for late night arrival and this particular guest came for check in was after 9:30pm

Again we offered her to pay for 1 Extra children which was $20.00 plus tax, but she refused this offer and left the property. actual rate was $79.95 plus tax per room for 2 adults/2 beds. Since I was out of town, during this occur, I had a help from one of my friend who was at the front desk during this time and he was not aware of the rate hike and also during this time period the phone lines were not working at all because the lightnings in the area and also the power were on/off during the time course and I could not contact the office at all. But anyway, I know that he had overcharged the guest by $40.05 plus tax, which comes to $44.85 and I am willing to give her a refund of $50.00 on her charge card, therefore please confirm this by return mail. Also regarding her comments over not honoring a reservation, if the phone systems is not working due to area lightnings and thunderstorms we have no way to check the reservation, and the desk clerk sold the rooms to walk in customer/guests. Anyway, we admit that he has sold some rooms at this price and we will refund all the guest overcharged with the difference.
