M & M Auto Sales Of Waldorf Inc. Reviews (3)

Review: I purchased a used Toyota Tundra about 4 months ago from M and M autos([redacted] dealership. After my initial temp tags expired I had to contact them to find out why I hadn't received my hard tags. No explanation was given and I was issued a 30 day extension tag. Now that 30 days is up they "cannot" issue another extension and are now claiming other dealers for not having a title/registration/tags to my truck. I am now left paying for a vehicle that is illegal to drive in MD.Desired Settlement: I want Tags on my truck. Selling a vehicle that has title issues is just bad business. As a consumer, I was totally unaware of any of this until now. I don't see how/why I should be inconvenienced due to the dealerships negligence.

Review: On April 21, 2014 I purchased my first brand new vehicle, a 2015 [redacted], from [redacted] of Waldorf in Maryland. The reason for my purchase is because my wife and I are expecting twins and I needed to upgrade in size so this purchase was a huge deal for us. I test drove the vehicle, met with the staff and financial department, in reference to the vehicle purchase, and left out with a final contract of $30702.52. The sale was finalized and the contract was signed off with my current home address, a Virginia residence. The dealership knew about my residence when all the documentation was printed and the tax was adjusted. But fast forward two months, I noticed that my tags were expired on the vehicle and I had yet to receive the new ones. I contacted that dealership and spoke with a representative that stated I did not pay the right price for my vehicle and that I owed the dealership $580.00. I proceeded to contact the department of motor vehicles in Virginia and was informed that I had valid tags. I contacted the dealership once again, and in a rude and unprofessional tone was informed that my tags would not be released to me. I personally visited the location and spoke with Jay W[redacted], who stated that he was the general manager, and once again in an unprofessional tone stated that I had to pay the remainder or I am not getting my tags. My wife, who is pregnant and uses this vehicle to attend her doctor visits, feared that she would be arrested should an police officer pull her over with expired tags. I basically reduced amount of $432.00 once I requested a refund, but I did not have a chance to consult with an attorney prior to this. I feel that this was illegal and a breach of contract when the dealer stated that it was a glitch in the system and I still owed them the money. Basically, the threat that I would not get my tags, whatsoever, was made clear by the dealership and I would like assistance in requesting a refund in this matter before it becomes a legal matter.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the money that the dealer stated I owed. I believe that it was a breach of contract and if I am held to make sure all payments are made for the vehicle or I can suffer repossession, I feel the dealership should have held up on their part of the contract and rendered the decision in my favor. I am willing to make this matter legal should the dealership proceed with no refund. I have documentation stating I owe nothing from the dealership and my contract.

Review: I purchased a car form M&M Sales of Waldorf Inc./[redacted] of Waldorf on October 13, 2014. I signed and agreed to a contract for the car and took the car home. After two weeks the Finance Guy (Name can be provided) ###-###-#### called me at work and stated that I needed to come back in and sign another contract because the finance company agreed to (Ally) would not finance the deal as is. Ally was requesting the dealer to remove the $795 dollar [redacted] insurance from the contract and then they would finance the loan. The Finance Guy (Name can be provided) said I had an option to pay the $795 out of pocket or remove the [redacted] protection and I would have to sign a new contract. I went to the car dealer after work and when they asked me to sign a new contract, I told them I did not want to do the deal. The manager on duty said they would eat the $795 cost and my payment would go down and I would not have to sign another contract. I asked them would I still have the [redacted] coverage and they told me no. I than said I did not want to purchase a car without [redacted] coverage and I no longer wanted the deal, so I left the car with the dealer on 11/3/2014. On 11/04/2014 the ** (name can be provided) called me and said they are still working the deal with the finance company (Ally) and they are going to try and keep the contract as is and I would not have to sign a new contract. I contacted Ally and they and they said they did not have my loan. At 6pm on 11/05/2014 ** (name can be provided) called and said they have the original deal through the finance company, I asked him to send me something via fax to let me know the deal was good. He sent me something with the finance company name on it but it was dated with the original date 10/13/2014. The Faxed form has a different price than the original contract. M&M Sales of Waldorf still has the car and the finance company still does not have a loan for me. I currently don't have the car financed and the dealer is saying I'm responsible for the car, the car payment is due and I don't have a finance company to send it to.Desired Settlement: I don't want to do business with a company that is lying about who is financing me. I would like to be released from the contract, since I have no idea who is financing the car. If I have to keep it I need to know who to make my payment to.
