Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company did not say anything about having to pay to get a warranty until after I filed a complaint to the Revdex.comThey did not attempt to reach out to me to fix the problem until I said that I wouldn't payThey then sent some people out but all they did was pull weeds and one dead plantThey did not replace that plant or the other dead ones and they did not fix my grassI emailed them and they never responded until they sent another bill where I again told them I wouldn't pay until they finished and then we could discuss a payment since the job has been unfinished for four months nowI specifically asked them to email me so I could have everything on file but they did not so that's when I filed the complaint with the Revdex.comI was satisfied with the job when it was first finished but then plants died, weeds grew through rapidly and parts of my grass died "before" I received the billWhen I did receive the bill the incorrect information was on there and they still had not fixed the issuesThe only time M&C has truly tried to communicate is when I said I wouldn't pay until the work was doneStill the communication was horrible and they never fixed the issues which is all that I wanted doneAfter my email on June 20th they said they would come take a look at the issues but never didWhen I received the bill and emailed them that they had not fixed the problems they finally responded and sent people out but again they did not complete the work, and the work they did do wasn't done well (pulling the weeds)I emailed them directly after that with no response until they sent another bill which again I replied by email on the 21st of SeptemberThat is the email that I specifically asked for an email in return to keep everything on record but they tried to call insteadI did not answer and filed a complaint with the Revdex.com so everything would be on fileAgain, they never communicated anything about a warranty and sent people out once to try to fix the issues so I assumed they were going to complete the job before the paymentIf their policy about the payment is true why did they send people out before I paid anything? And why did they not communicate this until I filed a complaint almost months after they had started the job? Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed are *** in a Word document
Regards,
*** ***
In the response from M&C Landscaping they decided to only show the
beginning of the communicationEverything was fine up until after the email I
received on 6/stating that they would come take a look at the plants and
grass that I had told them aboutThey never came but they did manage to send
the bill almost a month laterThat is when I sent the 5th email
explaining that they had never came out like they said to fix the issuesThey
called immediately and said they would send people out which they did but all
they did was pull the weeds (incorrectly) and pulled one plant that had died
That’s when I sent the 6th email to inform them about the grass and
the other plants that seemed dead so that they would have a heads up.Again they didn’t respond and within a month the weeds were worse than
before because they didn’t pull them from the rootsWhich they also didn’t do
the first time and that’s why the weeds grew back so fastI *** pictures
with the date to show one month after they came out the second time to pull the
weeds to show what I am talking aboutAfter I took those pictures I pulled the
weeds myself the right way and I have added pictures taken today, a little over
a month after I pulled them to show what it should look like when done
correctlyOf course I expected weeds to come back but not at that rate. They finally responded by sending a bill in September with a late feeI
responded with the 7th email and when they did not contact me by
email I submitted a complaint because by this time I was fed upI wouldn’t
have cared about not signing the contract or them using gallon plants if they
would have communicated with me and finished the jobIf it would have been
more and they didn’t charge me extra I would have been very appreciative if it
had been done correctly and if they fixed the grassI wasn’t even upset about the damage to the grass or the dead plants
because I understand it happensI became upset when they didn’t fix the issues
and I realized they didn’t do things the right wayI feel I gave them plenty
of time to make it right but now after months I don’t think I should have to
pay the full amount even if they do finishI would have gladly paid them if
they had fixed everything when I asked them tooInstead I have had dead
junipers all summer and my grass is just now looking better because I have been
paying to get it treated.I *** a history log from *** *** and as you can see they treated
it with fungicide to stop the disease from spreadingThe next step is to
aerate and over seedSo if they want to do that and replace the dead junipers
then a payment can be discussed or I can take care of it myselfThey said that they stand behind their warranty once the payment is made
but nowhere in their proposal to me (which I also *** and did not sign),
does it say thatAnd not once did they mention that in the emailIf that was true,
why did they attempt to fix everything when they came out to pull the weeds and
the dead plant? If the communication and their effort to make things right is
like this when I haven’t paid them I doubt they would have done anything at all
if I had paid them

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The company did not say anything about having to pay to get a warranty until after I filed a complaint to the Revdex.com. They did not attempt to reach out to me to fix the problem until I said that I wouldn't pay. They then sent some people out but all they did was pull weeds and one dead plant. They did not replace that plant or the other dead ones and they did not fix my grass. I emailed them and they never responded until they sent another bill where I again told them I wouldn't pay until they finished and then we could discuss a payment since the job has been unfinished for four months now. I specifically asked them to email me so I could have everything on file but they did not so that's when I filed the complaint with the Revdex.com. I was satisfied with the job when it was first finished but then plants died, weeds grew through rapidly and parts of my grass died "before" I received the bill. When I did receive the bill the incorrect information was on there and they still had not fixed the issues. The only time M&C has truly tried to communicate is when I said I wouldn't pay until the work was done. Still the communication was horrible and they never fixed the issues which is all that I wanted done. After my email on June 20th they said they would come take a look at the issues but never did. When I received the bill and emailed them that they had not fixed the problems they finally responded and sent people out but again they did not complete the work, and the work they did do wasn't done well (pulling the weeds). I emailed them directly after that with no response until they sent another bill which again I replied by email on the 21st of September. That is the email that I specifically asked for an email in return to keep everything on record but they tried to call instead. I did not answer and filed a complaint with the Revdex.com so everything would be on file. Again, they never communicated anything about a warranty and sent people out once to try to fix the issues so I assumed they were going to complete the job before the payment. If their policy about the payment is true why did they send people out before I paid anything? And why did they not communicate this until I filed a complaint almost 4 months after they had started the job?

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and she stated that the company was not aware of the incomplete work. They are offering the customer to give them a call so they can go back out and complete the job.

Review: Dishonest! On Monday, May 19 [redacted] quoted me for removal of grass, tiller, lay dirt and level, lay new sod & gutter adapter for water to flow outside of yard. Verbal estimate of $900. [redacted] was going to email me written estimate, never did. I followed up with call on Saturday, May 24, they took a deposit of $540 over the phone and the woman advised me they would come Monday. (Never showed up). Wednesday I called and told them I was going to call [redacted] (fraudulent charges) because they never showed up. Within an hour, [redacted] came to door ready to work. The only thing he did was remove existing weeds and laid new sod. I had left to return to work. I called [redacted] and advised him of the incomplete work that was done. Gutter adapter for water to flow outside the yard and level the yard. It was Not what he quoted me. He said they would be out Wednesday to fix and once again never showed up. I received a final bill in mail. I will not be paying the remaining balance for uncompleted work. Other companies quoted me $600 for removal, tiller, lay dirt, level yard and sod. But I went with them because they were going to additional work(see above)*If you have any questions about this matter, please call me.[redacted]CC: Revdex.comDesired Settlement: Refund 1/2 of the $540 I paid. They did not do what he claimed to be done.Other companies quoted me $600 for removal, tiller, lay dirt and sod.

Response:

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I do not accept the offer. As a landscape company they should know in the middle of a hot summer you do not do further work in a yard. For [redacted] to say we will finish the job would mean tearing up sod that is already in place and redo it correctly. I have already been down the path with [redacted] to come and finish work and he never showed up. They should send a manager above [redacted] or Luis to check out what they did. I still would like a refund of ½ my deposit as stated in original letter. I also have before and after pics of yard. If needed.

Regards,

Business

Response:

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and she stated that the consumer has a balance of $360 and for the work that is not completed the consumer would need to contact [redacted] at [redacted] to schedule for the company to go out and complete the work.
