Went in for a appointment to schedule a tattoo, they asked for a deposit of $60 to hold my spot and time, and if I was to cancel the appointment I would be given my deposit back. Canceled my appointment and they did not want to give me my $60 back and offered a gift certificate, I declined and only wanted my money back as they said they would. They only gave me half back $30. Bunch of theives. Don't believe they've heard of the customer is always right!
First off we didn't used to take deposits for tattoos till people started not showing up. You must be talking about a different shop. 2nd, drawing fees are applied to tattoos when you get them, that way we get paid for time involved to draw tattoo, when you get tattoo it is applied to tattoo. If you don't show up for appt. the drawing fee is forfeit if the appt. wasn't rescheduled in advance. 12-24 hours is all we require depending on time of day you call.
