Long And Foster Realtors Reviews (3)

In finishing the lease on the house I was renting, F [redacted] K [redacted] s Rockville/King Farm Sales 402 King Farm Blvd.,Suite 150, Rockville, MD, 20850 was the realtor hired by the owner to show the house. From the beginning, this realtor put up a generic sign without contact information until a couple of weeks after the house was listed so people would just walk around the property, refused to honor my requests for prior notification, misrepresented on the listing that the house was available 30 days prior to when it was, misrepresented to the homeowner that dog hair and debris were left in the house (although I spoke with the realtor and told her I would be moving out for a couple of weeks - I am legally blind and have serious health issues and moved to B [redacted] for treatment at Hopkins). She made extremely unprofessional phone calls - all recorded and she was advised of such at the onset that I was going to start recording her calls. I had to start recording because she was so unprofessional and called my accommodation requests "ridiculous" and that I was the "most annoying person she'd ever met". Even on the day of the final carpet cleaning on 4/26, I advised her that the house could not be shown and told her what time the cleaning was being done. Yet, a real estate agent from Long & Foster showed up and said she had just spoken to Filly who said I had already moved out. Via numerous emails, I advised her that my final move-out date was 4/30 and also advised her that the house was not cleaned yet but I had to go back and forth to Ba [redacted] for immediate treatment but the house would be taken care of upon final move-out date - all recorded. I asked for 24 hour notice for showing and even offered time periods requiring only notice that the house was being shown at what time on a couple of weekends. Again she complained that I was being unreasonable in my accommodation requests. I once again advised her that I was very ill and sometimes was in bed. I also advised her when she shouted on the phone "I don't know where you get this stuff and that you just make up the rules as you go along" as well as telling me that the owner was most likely going to go into foreclosure if they could not rent the house by the time I left and that I should have compassion (none was shown towards me by actions taken), that I got it from the City of Gaithersburg landlord/ tenant code and that it should be something she was familiar with nor did I need to know the owner's personal business. I involved the City of Gaithersburg landlord/ tenant department, who then was copied on all emails back and forth. I have worked with Long & Foster before in originally renting in Gaithersburg and had a great experience. I have never experienced anything like this. I felt harassed, bullied and outright discriminated against because of my disability as well as conned. I could not even go up and down the stairs well and had numerous falls inside of the house. I would never, ever recommend this agent to anyone at anytime. The experience only made my illness worse and the stress was completely overwhelming. The last 60 days of my residency at that house were certainly not peaceful and quiet enjoyment of the place I was paying for and continued to pay for up until my final move-out date of 4/30.
