On 7/14/i received a phone call from said Customer about a quote for retaining walls,Rock,Bull-nose edging & weed barrier at residencei drove to customer's address on 7/17/to get measurements, I cannot give a quote over the phone without measuring or looking at property.I produced
a quote and hand delivered it to her on 7/20/2017, She said it was to much and went against her budgetchanges were made immediately by Customer.$worth of work was taken off of the ProjectThe new Quote was now recalculated at $instead of $5597.65.The Customer verbally agreed to the new amount and wrote a check for $2201.57.I marked the retaining wall with flags while Customer was thereI installed the first wall, after it was done the Customer said that she didn't want the wall that wayShe wanted to add more to the projectI had already explained to her before starting the wall that the quote was only for the pallet of block.After a few weeks into project she let me go saying she no longer wanted my service.Sometime later on or around 8/11/she calls me back stating she really wanted me to finish the project, I excepted and went to her residence again to explain to her again about the cost of block so that we were on the same page. The customer never allowed me time to re-route the wall, because she took it downThe Customer was going to have her son to finish.I was not short on Material nor underbid myselfWhat happened was that she kept wanting to add more to the project but not pay any extra.so to avoid these issues again I had submitted to her on 9/15/an electronic Quote to protect the both of us, it was by no means forcing her to sign anything if she didn't agree.My phone was down around this time therefore I could not be contacted and I have proof of this, so it wasn't like I was avoiding her.She called me on 9/21/and I called her backShe stated," I know I still owe you some money, but is there any way I can get half of my money back?"I replied," I cannot do that due to the hours of labor that was put into the project,"She told me to come get the pallet of block but then said she wanted to return it herselfto get the money.The customer became very irate and began to verbally slander my Business and threatening to sue me and report me to the Revdex.com.I told her to go ahead and quickly ended the phone conversation all of which was heard by my wife because I had it on speaker because reception is not good at my residence.I wasn't getting into an argument with Customer.What happened was that since she paid half down that she thought she could add more work on to the project without paying any extra and I did try to work with her and resolve the IssuesI will however mail her out an Invoice and other Document for her records

I hired this landscaper based on the over the phone quote I received to put in small retaining walls and landscaping rocks in my yardWhen he showed up with the invoice to sign it was $5597.65, $more than he quotedAfter discussing it he lowered it back to what was quoted by phone, $I reluctantly signed the invoice and paid 1/the total costI gave $in the form of a check on July 20, The check was cashed soon after but we immediately began having issuesWhat we asked for was not being doneWe thought we were on the same page but then we would get different resultsI believe what happened was that he underbid the project and was trying to figure how to do what we requested with the little material he hadWe came to a point where we told him if he was short on what he quoted us that we would be okay with him getting more stone for the wallHe put up a temporary Rosetta stone wallHe could not figure how to get them to interlock to withstand the wei

I am rejecting this response because: The only flags he put down were those along the back of the house and I agree that I owe him from removal of old rock, which he quoted to me as $175.00. He did put up a retaining wall using the Rosetta stone he purchased. These stones did not interlock and would not hold back the earth. *** agreed with this and talk to supplier and agreed to take stone back. Which in the end, they did not do. I should not be charged for hours he spent fixing his mistakes. Yes, my son was here three times when *** came to his work. Never did he draw up any plans. In fact, I had a can of spray paint and my son drew out the lines where the walls were suppose to be placed. Please learn from my experience.....I paid this man $for a hole in the ground. DO NOT use his services!!!!!
