Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]When I booked this party, I looked at the website and then went into the business to book itI was told that the price was $plus an additional $per childThey took my name down and a $deposit and I didn't hear from them until a week before the partyWe had the party and I got a bill after for an additional $for a private party feeI was told that they state the fee in the contractI asked him for a copy of the contract that I never signed and he could not provide it to meThey then told me that it was emailed to meI looked through my messages and could not find it and told him that if he emailed me a contract he should be able to access itHe was unable to do soI had to pay the bill because I had all the parents from my daughter's kindergarten class there and did not want to be embarrassedI went home and looked at the website again to see where the additional fee was listed and it wasn't anywhere on their entire siteHe sent me a message and told me that it was stated verbally, which it was notHe then told me that they don't advertise the fee as not to confuse their customersThis is exactly what he is doingWhen you are told about an additional $an hour and minutes into a hour party, there isn't much you can doI disputed the charge with my credit card company and they told me that despite what he did was wrong, it was my fault for signing the slip and that because I paid, they were unable to help meHe is now harassing me through social media stating that the Revdex.com ruled in his favorHis argument is that they charge extra for private partiesBecause it is his business, he can charge $for a private party if he wants and that is not my complaintMy issue is that if you're going to charge an extra fee that is different from what you have on your website, you have to make the consumer awareI was never offered this brochure he tells me that he has availableI had my mother with me when we booked the party and never once where we told about this private party feeWe didn't even know it was a private partyMaybe he does all the time but in my case he did not and it was $shock that I found out about too late Regards, [redacted]

We were visiting this establishment over the summer and inquired about having our child's birthday partyWe spoke to the owner and was given all the information we needed for the partyWe were told that it was $for kids and that each additional child was $We were told that the price included a half a sheet pizza and either juice or popWe asked for November and was told that was unavailable but was offered the following week on the 13thWe said that would work and was told we needed to leave a $deposit, which I didThey said they would give us a call to finalize details when we got closer to party timeWe planned the party and invited childrenWe ordered extra pizza and extra beveragesThe party went along as planned until the owner handed us the bill with minutes of the party remainingOn this bill, I saw a charge for a "private party fee" of $I have never been made aware of this charge, it is not listed anywhere on their website, and it was never

The $in question is the private party fee, which is charged due to the fact we do not open and let other consumers inThis fee is explained verbally when booking the party, as well as it is in our brochure

Hello,My party was November 13th from 11:00-1:When I booked the party, I said her birthday was November 6thHe told me that the 13th was availableHe never once said that this would be a private party or what a private party was, or that there was a difference between a private party and a regular party, or that there was an additional fee for a private partyI never asked for a private party and I didn't even know it was a private party at the time of bookingThe website says nothing about the difference between a private party and a regular party or that there is an additional fee, therefore I thought I was just booking a birthday partyThe owner even went as far as saying to me that they don't advertise private parties as to not confuse peopleThat is exactly what he did to meHe added a charge I wasn't made aware of previously and presented it at a time in which I had no other choice but to pay itHe speaks of a brochure but there were no brochures at the desk when I booked in July and no paperwork was given to meI fully understand that he can charge whatever he wants for a party...I am not saying that he can't charge extra for a private party but I have a serious problem with charges being added after the fact without my knowledgeHe said it was clearly stated in the contract that I signed but he was unable to produce the contract because it did not existThe then told me that he e-mailed me a copy of this contract, which he did notAfter telling me those two things, he told me that it was told to me verballyThis fee is listed nowhere and I was completely surprised when my bill was handed to me at 12:and it was $more than anticipated
