We completed this project September we did not warranty the trees and plants, but I did purchase them from Home Depot and
they do warranty the plant and their warranty ended in December and I have the receipt
The customer was insistenton an avocado tree be plantedI explained to him that avocado trees do not grow in his climate zone per agricultural and horticultural zones listings State of California
In summary there is no warranty left there is no obligation for me to replace anything,my dilemma is he's insistent on an avocado tree that will not grow and most likely will die and he will be insisting on be providing him with another new tree and continue to threaten me my company and reputation which he is already doing now via Yelp
If needed I can supply you with the Home Depot receipt and they're expired warranty
Thanks ***
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2016/05/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
*** stated that if we had any problems to get in touch with him, thus providing a verbal warranty We did not hire Homedepot, we hired You *** Please replace the tree for one of the same kind This is the least you can do This would be the right thing to do Additionally Please fix the concrete, it's cracking. Thanks,***
