*** Cal.net is very sorry to hear that you are not happy with the quality of service that you have been receivingWe are aware of some inconsistencies with your service, and are on the last stage of some network infrastructure upgrades that will stabilize your connectionI see that
you called in on the 19th of January in regards to the issues referenced in this complaint, and we reached a mutual resolution to these problemsCal.net also gave your account financial compensation for the inconsistent service that you have hadAt the end of our phone conversation on the 19th our support staff had felt that we had resolved all outstanding issues and gave you a reasonable time table for resolutionAt the time of the call *** agreed with our proposed solutions saying that he would hang in there and wait for the service to be fixedWe are still following the time table proposed to you, and again expect the service to improve within the next few daysLet our support staff know if you need anything else, and we look forward to providing you a great internet experience moving forward!!

I am rejecting this response because: I sent Cal.net billing an email on Febrequesting a three day out of service adjustment and I have not, as of this writing, received a response Cal.net's response did not reference an out of service adjustment which is what I was seeking when I sent the complaint to the Revdex.com Cal.net's internet speeds have been much slower on average then our previous internet provider, which was purchased by Cal.net in August, Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: All advertisements from cal.net show that for $a month you get 3-mbps speedWhen I started with them they told me that those speeds were not available to me, all I could get is 1-mbps, but within a couple weeks there new technology would be running and it would automatically increase to those speedsAfter a couple months of my internet hardly working it quit working completelyAfter multiple calls to tech support they could not figure out why it would not work and told me that it would only be a couple weeks until the new equipment would be working and they would notify me and get me runningAfter months of paying my bill for a service I was not receiving I started calling againThis time they told me that they could get my service back up but I would have to pay for the new equipment that they own and it states in there terms and conditions."If the leased equipment fails or is damaged, for a reason other than your actions, Cal.net will replace your leased equipment free of charge for the life of your Service Membership with Cal.net." After a few calls it took me going into the office to talk to a manager for them to agree to this and not charge me for there faulty equipmentThey finally brought me out new equipment and I went back to having terrible service and had to reset my equipment daily just for it to sometimes work, again telling me that the new technology would be running in a few weeksWell after over a year of paying for this new technology that I had not received I told them that I was not going to keep over paying them for there promise of lies, and I wanted my account creditedAfter many calls and office visits they refused to credit me what they owed me so I returned my equipmentI never received any bills or communication after that! Then months later I received a collections notice from a collectorIf I owed them money they needed to send me a bill so It could be dealt withThis company Lied and Stole from me and I am not going to sit back and let them get away with it. No where in there terms and conditions does it say anything about there price for speedsThe only written form of pricing is on there advertisements which clearly state that it is $a month for 3-mbpsIf they want to over charge people they need to put it in the contract and I would have no choice but to accept there terrible business practices

subscription packages based on the type of technology your address qualifies forCal.net is constantly upgrading network infrastructure to offer the best experience in rural areasCal.net subscriptions are month to month with no binding contracts, and our customers are free to cancel service at any timeIf you no longer planned on using your Cal.net Internet service than services should have been terminated at the time of that decisionIt appears that there is an outstanding balance on the account which Cal.net has turned over to our collections agencyYou may work with *** *** *** to settle the past due balance

[redacted],       Cal.net is very sorry to hear that our service has not been up to your standards. Here at Cal.net we strive to put our customers first, and focus on customer satisfaction. Unfortunately it does look like your service was recently...

interrupted due to a storm. Cal.net will do everything we can to get out to our customers in a timely manner and restore service as quickly as possible. Cal.net does not always have a static appointment the next day, but we do have a stand bye queue that holds a very high priority! I do see a Cal.net field tech was able to take your appointment on a stand bye basis on 02/19/16, and he was able to restore your internet service. We do hope that you found this restoration of service acceptable, and please let us know if you have any other concerns or questions.
