Review: I bought my truck in December 2013. As part of the sale, I asked if the truck could be used to plow snow. The salesman, [redacted], said yes. I found out recently that my truck cannot be used to plow snow. I called to ask [redacted] about it, and he said he believed it could plow snow. He then talked to my wife and told her that he checked with the other salesmen there and they all thought that my truck could be used to plow. He said it was news to all the salemen there that my truck could not be used to plow. [redacted] told my wife he would call Ford in the morning and verify. My wife told [redacted] that the dealership should compensate us for lying to us and causing us to have to figure out other means to plow our driveway. We live in a snowy area, and this is a big problem. [redacted] left a message the next day that he found out that my truck CANNOT be used to plow. Ever since then, I have tried to call him back on four different days, and each time he does not accept my call and does not call me back. I have no choice but to file this complaint. My wife and I think that Lake View Ford should compensate us for lying to us about our very expensive truck.Desired Settlement: Lake View Ford should compensate us for lying to us about our truck. We have had to purchase a new tractor and snowthrower attachment in order to be able to plow our driveway. This is a major expense to us that we were not planning for.
