I have been living in Lake In The Woods apt complex also know as Bayshore properties for yearsI have watched the property decline and fall apartThe property is infested with raccoons and several units have roof issues causing the ceilings to leak and there solution to this problem was to set several buckets throughout my apt to catch the dirty waterAfter a month of dealing with this another apt became available for me to move intoI had to downgrade my family to a 2BDR apt, the management team was not sympathetic and offered me nothing for my inconvenience , (except they did have there maintenance staff to move bedroom set and a set of mattresses and a small dining room set)Also the management team made me re-sign a brand new year lease [redacted] the office manager is rude and loud, I've even heard her cuss, [redacted] whom works in the office is very sarcastic and likes to add extra charges and late fees and try's to downplay work orders and sometimes doesn't even write the orders upI have to call to times before maintenance ever comes to fix anythingSpeaking of maintenance, 90% of them are Spanish speaking only and when they come to do repairs its like or of them together (like really does it take that may people to unstop a tubLastly I would like to share that management has no rules against people loitering in the hallways or sitting outside on the stepsEveryday there is a group of kids, teens and young adults hanging out on the stoop and in the stairwell, this is so annoying after a long days work that I have to climb over them just to get to my doorI've spoke with management about this several times and they say its nothing they can do
I have been living in Lake In The Woods apt complex also know as Bayshore properties for 14 years. I have watched the property decline and fall apart. The property is infested with raccoons and several units have roof issues causing the ceilings to leak and there solution to this problem was to set several buckets throughout my apt to catch the dirty water. After a month of dealing with this another apt became available for me to move into. I had to downgrade my family to a 2BDR apt, the management team was not sympathetic and offered me nothing for my inconvenience , (except they did have there maintenance staff to move 1 bedroom set and a set of mattresses and a small dining room set). Also the management team made me re-sign a brand new 1 year lease. [redacted] the office manager is rude and loud, I've even heard her cuss, [redacted] whom works in the office is very sarcastic and likes to add extra charges and late fees and try's to downplay work orders and sometimes doesn't even write the orders up. I have to call 2 to 3 times before maintenance ever comes to fix anything. Speaking of maintenance, 90% of them are Spanish speaking only and when they come to do repairs its like 3 or 4 of them together (like really does it take that may people to unstop a tub. Lastly I would like to share that management has no rules against people loitering in the hallways or sitting outside on the steps. Everyday there is a group of kids, teens and young adults hanging out on the stoop and in the stairwell, this is so annoying after a long days work that I have to climb over them just to get to my door. I've spoke with management about this several times and they say its nothing they can do.
