On 6-10-19 I visited this business and found a boat I liked. On 6-12-19 I called back about the boat and was told it was sold. On 6-18-19 I was told another one was on order and for me to come back in to and we could pick colors and such. On 6-24-19 went to pick out colors and just to see if we could get some good rates with their lenders. I put down a $500.00 deposit for good faith, and filled out loan papers. I was told also on this date 6 to 8 weeks at the longest to get boat. On 6-28-19 they called e back with the lenders rates and they were to high so I was going to get the boat through my bank. On 07-01-19 a byers order was sent to my bank and I was approved for the loan. On 09-06-19 I called and ask why was it taking so long and they were not keeping their end of the deal. On 09-16-19 I told them I was disgusted with the whole thing that 8 weeks had now become over 3 months. On 10-03-19 the boat came in, and was called on 10-07-19 that the boat was ready. But before I made the drive I called and found out it was not even the same thing I had ordered, (options) and they had to order some more things to get it ready. 10-15-19, over 2 months LATE it was ready, he sent a new buyers order to the bank to update information and he had added another $500.00 to the order without telling me. The bank caught it from the 1st order sent on 07-01-19. This was the last straw. I stopped the transactions and requested my deposit back. At this time, 4 1/2 months later he tells me there is a 500.00 fee and I cant have my deposit back. This is basically stealing. I signed no contract when I put down the $500.00 and the deposit should be refunded to me ASAP.
