We had the owner who claims to have been refinishing bathtubs for years, resurface ours from a terrible pink to white I have to say, he was professional prompt and courteousOn the day of refinishing, he spent many hours prepping and preparing the tub, and it looked as if he was going to do a great jobI left him at the house with a check and ran into townWhen arriving back at the house, we went to see the job, and couldn't believe our eyesThere was no fewer than runs and sags in the paintWe immediately called our bank to stop payment on the check, not believing He didn't notice the sags/runs He took the check, seeing the sags/runs We called him immediatelyHe did return our call the next morningStating that he never saw the runs or sags and that they weren't there when he leftWe find that hard to believeWe told him we stopped the payment on the check and he needed to come and fix the problemHe agreed About a week and a half later, he did come back, sanded down the tub and resurfaced itThis time, it looked much better, but far from perfectWe now count six sags in the paint which are very visible to the eye We certainly appreciate his effort to redo the tub the second time around, and know that his time and materials are not cheapSo we did pay him in full ( minus the stop payment fee) for his time Overall, we believe that the job is really lousy and we should have just bought a new tubFor the $we paid him, we could have just replaced the tub altogetherShame on us We really feel as if L&L made a good faith try to rectify the problem, but it still looks awfulBuyer beware

We had the owner who claims to have been refinishing bathtubs for 39 years, resurface ours from a terrible pink to white.
I have to say, he was professional prompt and courteous. On the day of refinishing, he spent many hours prepping and preparing the tub, and it looked as if he was going to do a great job. I left him at the house with a check and ran into town. When arriving back at the house, we went to see the job, and couldn't believe our eyes. There was no fewer than 40 runs and sags in the paint. We immediately called our bank to stop payment on the check, not believing 1. He didn't notice the sags/runs 2. He took the check, seeing the sags/runs.
We called him immediately. He did return our call the next morning. Stating that he never saw the runs or sags and that they weren't there when he left. We find that hard to believe. We told him we stopped the payment on the check and he needed to come and fix the problem. He agreed.
About a week and a half later, he did come back, sanded down the tub and resurfaced it. This time, it looked much better, but far from perfect. We now count six sags in the paint which are very visible to the eye.
We certainly appreciate his effort to redo the tub the second time around, and know that his time and materials are not cheap. So we did pay him in full ( minus the stop payment fee) for his time.
Overall, we believe that the job is really lousy and we should have just bought a new tub. For the $630 we paid him, we could have just replaced the tub altogether. Shame on us.

Resurface bathtub on XXXXXXXXCame with 5 year written GuaranteePaint in areas of tub bubbled up and peeled off.Called company 5 times. No response I paid $525.00 to resurface my bathtub on 07.17.2012. About July of 2013 the paint on some areas of the tub started to bubble up.A few weeks later the bubbles deflated and the paint started coming of. I called the company for [redacted]on five different occasions but never heard back from him or anyone else to date.I made 2 checks payable. One to L&L Enterprise and the 2nd to [redacted] as he requested. When I first called the company for a quote, I had no problem in getting [redacted] to come to my home and take a look at the potential job. As a matter of fact he came within an hour of my initial call. Copies of checks and guarantee can be furnished upon request.Desired SettlementI am requesting a full refund or adequate/proper repairs to the tub. This was a very expensive job, as the tub walls were not done, just the tub itself. It came with a 5 year guarantee.

Had my tub and ceramic tiles refinished in May of 08. Next year or maybe two, not quite sure, areas started to chip on the tub. Called [redacted], took 4 days to return my call. He came and fixed the chips. After another few years or so the tub started to have chipped areas again. I called [redacted] and NO RESPONSE. After my 4th phone call I asked him to please have the courtesy to return my call so we could discuss this matter and again NO RESPONSE. I reminded him that my guarantee was to expire on May 21st. so please call me. NOTHING!!!!!!! The chips are now starting to get bigger.Desired Settlement I would like the areas that are chipped to be fixed.
