Richmond Revdex.com

Revdex.com Case# [redacted]

L&W Janitorial Services had an agreement with [redacted] to perform an initial deep clean of her home and business that is also located in the home, given the state of her home upon our initial consult we defined the services we were to perform to the customer and the length of time that would be required due to the preexisting state of the home/office and [redacted] agreed to these terms.

We performed the services as defined, the customer stated she was extremely happy with the work performed and asked us to perform a weekly cleaning.

We performed the subsequent cleaning as defined by our scope of work, the customer unilaterally expanded the scope of work by asking for additional items that were not discussed nor agreed upon but in an effort to appease our customer we sent staff out to perform the requested items. The customer was onsite the entire time our staff was in her home and she performed inspections prior to our staff leaving and she stated she was happy with what was done, so much so she commented about in on [redacted] did ask us about painting 3 rooms for her, we quoted her a price to perform the service and she said it was more than she wanted to spend. We eventually came to an agreement that she provide the paint and we would paint and paint only with no additional services at a drastically discounted price. [redacted] agreed to this proposal, And we sent two of our employees onsite to begin painting. Upon starting prep work for painting, [redacted] proceeded to instruct our employees that they were to spackle areas and to patch a hole in her bathroom. One of our employees advised her that the agreement was to paint only and that is all they were authorized to do. this is when [redacted] became verbally abusive to our employees to the degree that one of our employees became afraid for their safety and they called us to advise us of what was happening, [redacted] could hear the customer yelling in the background in an aggressive manner so [redacted] advised them to tell [redacted] that they were instructed to leave.

I attempted to contact [redacted] via her cell phone twice that day and once the following day to discuss why we pulled our employees and to discuss a possible go forward plan but my calls were not returned.

[redacted] proceeded to send a series of harassing text messages to [redacted] targeting our employees, our business and [redacted] personally. We responded via text that any further communication of this manner will be deemed harassment and appropriate actions will be taken if this is continued and the only acceptable form of communication concerning this matter would be in written form to our company P.O. Box and we provided the appropriate contact information.

Our company aims to please all of our customers both commercial and residential and we always have and will continue to go the extra mile to please even if that includes performing additional services or adjusting our scope of work, but we draw the line when it comes to subjecting our employees or our company to an unsafe situation which we feel strongly that we made the right choice in removing our employees from that site and severing ties with this customer.

As far as restitution to the customer, L&W Janitorial Services did not receive payment nor did we invoice for the painting of the rooms as we did not perform the service. And as far as the cleaning services we have performed satisfactorily to the customers own admission as well as performed an additional 6 hours of non funded labor in order to make our customer happy and we will not consider refunding the customer.
