This individual purchased this vehicle on a buy here pay here contract almost months ago When he purchased the vehicle he was offered an extended warranty to purchase with the vehicle and he refused to add it So therefore he chose to buy this vehicle and be responsible for all
repairs He signed at least notices/waivers saying he knew the car was as-is, and at least notices/waivers where he refused the extended warranties.So when the transmission went out he pulled into a tire shop and some inexperienced mechanic pulled the dipstick on the transmissionSince it was under pressure fluid shot out on the exhaust manifold which was extremely hot of course and caught on fire The fire was quickly put out and caused no further damageHe then came to me complaining about what was I going to do I told him even though he refused the warranties at time of purchase and chose to take care of all repairs himself I would still help him out I offered to pay for half the repair upfront and he pay the other halfI gave him the amount it would cost right then He didn't seem to like that and he left my office saying he would get back to me I never heard from him again He has never called or came back to talk to meWe went ahead and fixed his car and since it's been about days since we spoke we have sent him legal notices that his car is now being treated as a repossession.His statement is absolutely 100% false
