In response to compliant ID#[redacted], I will use my over 30 years dry cleaning experience to argue [redacted]'s claim of foul play as well as the preposterous claim of harassment, both which I'm...

viewing as a serious matter. All customers are treated with respect and dignity. Before I summarize the details of our cleaning procedures for the garment, I'll briefly review the initial consultation with [redacted] about her dress as stated by [redacted]. She bought her "used" silk dress that she recently purchased off of display.Already frustrated having to bring a dress she just purchased to be cleaned, the complainant expressed her displeasure with the seller or ( store ). Please note that this display dress showed signs of sun exposure which create ixidisation (uneven discoloration due to exposure to air , as well as dust which over time collects and will mark your dress.) Delicate materials require extremely gent le treatment and sometimes their limits our ability to treat ingrained soiling and set stains. This is why proper storage is a must. Upon looking at the dress all above was told to [redacted]. The dress was listed out and reviewed and both [redacted] and I agree and pointed out the ink stain and section that was scratch near the zipper , this was also confirmed by the seamstress who accompanied the complainant. To my knowledge this seamstress was an employee from the store the dress was purchased from.. when long heavy clothing are dry cleaned, we hang them up and make sure bottom parts are inside of bins, to prevent from ripped or getting damaged , customers are called and inspect the items and we move forward. This is normal procedures. . Since she made such a scene , I told her to just pick up her dress and go. She then offered to just pay $200 instead of $250.00 which was the price of the garment cleaned. I insisted she just go but she insisted paying only $200.00 which she throw at the counter and left . I 've been in this location for almost 30 years and never experienced anything or anyone like complainant.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:This company should not be in business. I have never in my life seen such a lack of professionalism and dishonesty. I have been completely honest and have not made up any stories, unlike this business. I can see that they have not yet come to understand that it is important to make a customer happy and to stand behind your product. They did not complete the services promised. I paid them $200 because I just wanted my dress to be safe and out of their hands. They did not say that I could have it for free, but screamed at me and threw my receipt and money at me. It was the most disgraceful business transaction I have ever experienced. They clearly do not stand behind their product and I hope no one ever uses Kings Park Cleaners again so that they do not have to go through the horrible experience that I had to! I had to go pay another professional to do the job right! At this point, I would be willing to compromise with this business and split the difference and accept a refund of $100 to put this matter in this past. I hope they can be professional enough to agree to this compromise so that we can both move on. [Your Answer Here]

I am so outraged by her repeated changing story. I wouldn't known whether her dress was used , displayed or sample. I only said as what she told me. My response to all this silliness accusation is just WOW. .. I insisted that she just pick her dress up for free but she insisted that she would only pay $200. Instead of $250. it's all "she said" and "he say" situation.  Certain things she said are so not true but i'm not gonna get in to that . I won't refund any money. I also spent extra labor works on this garment.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: there were countless false accounts in the business' response. First, the dress was not a "used" "display" dress. It was a sample from a salon that was used for women to try on. It was never a display and therefore did not have sun exposure. I brought the dress to the cleaners for slight staining on the hem, which [redacted] said he could take care of, and for it to be pressed. I went back to the store 3 times to inspect the dress and each time there were new and different stains. I assume they were caused by the storage of my dress, as the dress was left balled up in a laundry bin that did not look very clean. I paid for the dress to be steamed and pressed as well. Each time I went to pick it up the cathedral train was balled up and wrinkled. The second lie was that the seamstress that I brought with me because I needed a professional opinion and did not feel comfortable meeting with [redacted] alone again, was my seamstress and did not work for the cleaners. She said that the dress had staining caused by the store's storage in the laundry bin. She also noted [redacted]s rude disposition as he yelled at me "Why are you mean" after making me cry because I was worried about my wedding dress. One would think that a person with 30 years of experience cleaning garments would understand a bride being concerned about her wedding dress. One would also hope someone with 30 years experience would store a very fragile and expensive silk gown in a more appropriate manner. Finally, [redacted] was not truthful about the last encounter when I went to pick up my dress. This time I was accompanied by a friend, as I again did not feel safe or comfortable going to this store alone. The employee brought out my dress, again with the entire cathedral train balled up in a bin, therefore still wrinkled. This time there was a new stain on the hem, which I had to pay my seamstress to remove and I had to pay her to steam the dress. [redacted] came out of the back in a menacing manner. He yelled at me that I was a "bad customer" and ripped up my receipt and yelled at me to get out! I asked the woman why he was speaking to me, a customer, in that way. He then unzipped the bag with my dress and tried to rip my dress off of the hanger. He was enraged and about to attack and I never saw anything like that before, especially from a businessman. I left the $200 on the counter and ran out as I was afraid of what he might do to my dress and just wanted to get out of there safely as he was acting in a very aggressive and erratic manner. My friend said she also had never experienced anything like that and could not believe the lack of professionalism. The entire experience was a horrible nightmare and I had to pay $250 to have my dress cleaned professionally and steamed and pressed professionally at another establishment. I believe that I deserve a refund because of all that I had to go through.

Review: I went to Kings Park Cleaners to have my silk wedding dress cleaned. I bought a sample wedding dress that was barely dirty, but my seamstress recommended that the cleaning might brighten up the dress and it might be worth it. I brought it here & was told that the slight stains could be removed. I was called a week after dropping it off and was told to come pick it up. The older man that worked there told me to inspect the dress 1st. I was surprised to see my wedding dress (with cathedral train) dumped into a laundry bin. To my surprise, there were more stains than when I dropped it off. He was pulling it from my hands trying to rush me while I identified 15 stains! He said it would be ready tomorrow. I called the next day & made sure & went to pick it up, this time I brought my seamstress. The man & a woman were there & my dress was still in a bin. I was told that it was pressed & steamed, but it was balled up & wrinkled. This time there were 4 stains & 1 section had scratches on it. I started to cry as I was so upset about the state of my dress. The man yelled at me that I was mean & the woman told me that there are worse things in life. They told me to come back the next day & that they wouldn't try again after that. On Saturday, there was a new stain on the bottom of the dress & it was still wrinkled. I said that I wanted to take it and have it done correctly somewhere else. They told me to pay & I asked what they would take off of the price ($250). They said nothing & told me I shouldn't have been so cheap & that my dress was filthy (lies) & I shouldn't have a used dress! The man threw my receipt in my face & screamed at me & told me to get out. I said I didn't want it for free & offered $200 and he threw my money back at me. I left $200 cash on the counter & said have a nice day. I have never been verbally abused & almost attacked by a businessman before. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a business. This is the most important dress I will ever wear & they almost ruined it!!Desired Settlement: I feel that after all of the frustration that I went through, the emotional turmoil caused, and the fact that I still have to go pay someone else to fix my dress, that I should have a full refund of my money. Not only were the promised services not delivered, I was also verbally abused and afraid that the male employee there was going to attack me. I had to go back to the store 3 times, and I went accompanied. I cannot believe that this experience actually happened.
