Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Re: Revdex.com CID [redacted] In response to Kinderland Montessori saying "this is unacceptable." What is unacceptable is their providing no written feedback on our daughter's progress nor written documentation of what our daughter was doing while at their schoolWhile they do have a policy requiring days' notice, it seems they are much better at communicating their financial policies, which protect only their own financial interests rather than the education of children whose care they are entrusted with, than they were at communicating about our daughter's progress or lack thereofIt is amazing how communicative they are about finances (not only pertaining to the Revdex.com, but also with emails about payment reminders and penalties for late payment), yet they were seemingly mute about how our daughter was doing at their schoolWhile their contract protects them legally, as an educational institution for children, they failed my daughter, and their unwillingness to refund our money for services not rendered leads me to question their commitmentRegardless of whether or not our money is refunded, I hope that other parents looking for a pre-school read this before enrolling their child at Kinderland Montessori-Bonita Regards, [redacted]

Re: Revdex.com CID [redacted] In response to Kinderland Montessori saying "this is unacceptable." What is unacceptable is their providing no written feedback on our daughter's progress nor written documentation of what our daughter was doing while at their school. While they do have a policy requiring 30 days' notice, it seems they are much better at communicating their financial policies, which protect only their own financial interests rather than the education of children whose care they are entrusted with, than they were at communicating about our daughter's progress or lack thereof. It is amazing how communicative they are about finances (not only pertaining to the Revdex.com, but also with emails about payment reminders and penalties for late payment), yet they were seemingly mute about how our daughter was doing at their school. While their contract protects them legally, as an educational institution for children, they failed my daughter, and their unwillingness to refund our money for services not rendered leads me to question their commitment. Regardless of whether or not our money is refunded, I hope that other parents looking for a pre-school read this before enrolling their child at Kinderland Montessori-Bonita.

Dear [redacted],This letter is in response to subject complaint filed against us. We are a pre-school, kindergarten and elementary school in business since 2011. The consumer enrolled his child in our toddler program, and upon enrollment signed and agreed to the school’s Enrollment agreement. The...

enrollment agreement lists our policies and procedures. I have a copy of the signed agreement by the consumer. In that agreement it is clearly stated that if they should require to withdraw their child from the program a 30 day notice is required, if not they are liable for the monthly tuition. The October tuition was paid on 9/30/15 and the consumer sent me an email on 10/06/15 telling us that they had decided to withdraw their child from our program (I have a copy the email communication) effective 9/29/15. I replied with a reminder of our policy and mentioned that his daughter was welcome to attend school for the rest of October (I also have a copy of the email I replied with). He replied with a refusal and that he had already chosen another school for his daughter. The same day the consumer's wife called in and mentioned that her husband (the consumer) was the one who wanted to withdraw the child and mentioned a different reason of the decision. She asked when she could pick up her daughter's clothes and diapers and I told her she could come in any time. She came in the next day, on 10/07/15 and picked up the child’s belongings: extra set of clothes, diaper and crafts. She left school and returned 30 minutes later, with a bad attitude and went to her child’s classroom and asked for the supplies that she had brought in on the first day of school for her daughter, the teacher told her that those items could not be returned and she immediately harassed the teacher and threatened to call the police if she did not give the items to her.The teacher came and informed me of the situation and I immediately called the school Director so we could both be present. She was being very disrespectful and loud, and I did mention to her that this was the first time we were treated like this, as a result, we gave her some of the items that were brought by her, but explained that they had already been used by her daughter. I did tell her that there was no need harass us in our business, especially in front of her children. She said that her husband told her to new school and that they also required similar items and she said it was not fair the she had already purchased some for this school, and she still needed to purchase a uniform for her daughter, and that it was just too much and I told her that I understood how she felt, but it was their decision, and the school cannot be liable for the money spent at a different school nor the money they would spend at purchasing the new items, especially because it was a decision that they made.Clearly it was their decision of changing school, we did offer to have their daughter finish the month of October with us, but refused. The consumer only wanted cash. They must understand that before making a decision they should analyze what they will spend, as a business we cannot be at blame for the consumer's choices. It was a very unpleasant event for the school, specially threatening our staff, (there were 2 other teachers at the scene) and causing a disturbance with children present. The consumer did not accept any of our offerings, I don't see other intention but to blame the school for his decision, this is unacceptable.[redacted]
