Review: I was sold tickets to an event that did not require tickets to attend. It was the 4th of July Party at Lake Oroville Golf and Event Center on July 4, 2015. I bought 14 tickets at $10 each for lawn seats, 2 tickets at $15 each for the pool and 2 tickets at $10 each for parking, for a total of $190. When we arrived there wasn't anyone collecting tickets, the property was open to the public for anyone to attend. So many people were there that did not pay and it resulted in overcrowding. The flyer states that reservations are required and they were not, so I feel this is fraud. Also, the tickets clearly state that "Food will be available for purchase, NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS" We respected this and came prepared to purchase dinner and drinks. When we went to the bar we were told there was no food and no drinks. Everything was gone, they only had vodka. Our party consisted of a pregnant women and 5 children. There wasn't even water available for them. We also were required to pay an additional $5 for pool tickets but there was no one monitoring the area so many people were occupying the pool who did not have pool tickets. When we went to use the bathrooms they were filthy and there was no toilet paper. This is not what we paid for and I have spoke to the owner and requested a refund and he refused to do so.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the $190 I paid to attend the event.
