We couldn't find a house that had the kitchen or master bath or closets we wanted so we settled on a house in Circle C that I believed provided the best bones to remodel and get everything that we wanted in our new home. I had met both Joel and Lucy K previously as a result of my work with a trade association and knew of their great reputation amongst their peers. The K were only one of two firms that I contacted and discussed my ideas and our project. After talking to both firms, I knew that I wanted to go with Joel and Lucy. You want Katz Builders if you want someone that can take your ideas, improve them and turn them into a plan on paper with a workable budget. I chose Katz Builders because of their reputation for quality work, attention to detail and ensuring that everything had to be done right and they exceeded my expectations! Katz Builders turned the house we bought into the home that my wife and I wanted. Without a doubt, I would use them again!

You were open to suggestions, willing to make compromises when necessary, made timely decisions along the way and had realistic expectations in terms of what was possible and what wasn't based on the budget you established. We recently completed an extensive six figure remodel/refurbish effort and we hired the Katz team to serve as our general contractor. They are outstanding. During the process they selected, coordinated and managed at least 11 different trades. The people Katz selected were skilled, professional and always respectful of us and our property. The few issues that came up during construction were handled immediately and to our complete satisfaction. As we got into the job we ran into a number of unforeseen repair issues that had to be addressed. Amazingly, we still came in under budget. Hiring the Katz team was a blessing. We could not have done it ourselves.

We did an extensive remodel of our kitchen, laundry room, mud room, and master bath. We are thrilled with the results. The open design flows and is beautiful.The Katzs were terrific to work with. They are professional and continue to be responsive. We couldn't have asked for the experience to be better.
