Review: I paid for a firearm on 2-15-2013 from k5 arms inc. in Connecticut which they said they had to order I never received my firearm and the company up and moved out of state I never received a phone call or anything about the move and I never got my money back or the firearm I think it is a shame that I have to o threw all of this just to get my money back or my firearm I have tried to reach [redacted] owner of k5 arms with no response .Desired Settlement: I want my $629 back or my firearm

Response:

We've been in touch with [redacted] via email since we've moved. The first occurred back on 7/26/2013. There was a delay in getting the change of address for our FFL license updated by ATF which was completely unforeseen by us and caused a delay in fulfilling/shipping some backorders. Our license has since been taken care of and [redacted]'s firearm was shipped to an FFL in Connecticut where he could pick it up. Frank has spoken to [redacted] on the phone and made him aware of where he can pick it up and the need to provide his receipt upon doing so.

Review: I purchases a firearm that was not in stock. In nearly a year it has still not become available. I have been asking for my refund of just under $1382.54 for a month now, but have not gotten so much as a reply. K5 Arms moved out of CT to Texas and reopened under a new name, but the owner, [redacted], remains the same.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the full $1382.54.

Response:

We have relocated out of CT but did not change our name or anything else about our corporation. It was our belief that [redacted] was fully aware of everything that was going on with the move and his order considering he spoke on the phone with [redacted] back on Dec. 9, 2013 (he's also spoken with one of our employees who is still in CT). During this conversation [redacted] told him that the reason for the delay in fulfilling his order was that [redacted], the manufacturer, discontinued the particular gun he ordered and we were trying to see if the State of CT would allow a substitution because of their assault weapons ban. Since they will not allow it, he was told that it wouldn't be a problem to receive a refund. We simply asked for him to please text us his current information in case anything had changed and the copy of his receipt. At 7:56pm that same day we received a text with his name and address but to date, have never received a copy of his receipt. It's been a week and a half since the conversation about his refund, not a month, and his delay in providing the receipt was the only reason we haven't mailed the refund yet. Upon reviewing his Revdex.com complaint, I noticed that he did attach a copy of his receipt. I don't know why he couldn't do the same for us but regardless, since we've obtained the requested receipt through Revdex.com, we will mail him his refund.
