My name is *** (***) *** and I am the owner/photographer of *** VanGilder Photography

This is a very popular bedroom set that is made from Solid wood, mdf, and veneer and is very solid! I have hundreds of customers that will testify...

to this. Weve been in business since 2007 and don't think wed still be around if we were false advertising.

At any rate, as stated on our website, before you sign for the boxes a brief inspection should take place, especially if one or more of the boxes are being rejected.

If it is not noted on the delivery receipt, the freight company will not cover the damages. We inspected and took pictures of his order prior to it leaving the docks, so our claim would've been covered had he not sign for them as if they were ok.  Our site clearly states this and is most important when shipping out of state. [redacted] refused the dresser, which they covered but he did not refuse the night stands as well as he should have.

We settled with [redacted] to refund him in the amount of $1420 for the dresser and the 2 night stands, even though proper procedure was not completed.

Thank you

Review: I ordered a bedroom set and was informed the night stand did not arrive months and months have passed and I still have not gotten the night stand I paid for. I received the rest of the bedroom set but not the night stand. I contacted customer service and they kept saying it was on the way, finally they said the manufactuer in [redacted] does not know what is going on...Now customer service will not return emails or phone calls. I paid for a complete bedroom set but did not get the night stand now I have a bedroom set with no matching night stand. I would really like the night stand but if it is not going to happen I want a refund for the night stand processed.Desired Settlement: I would like to get the night stand.

When you ordered, you knew the night stand was not in stock. You wanted the rest of the set anyway and said that you would wait for the night stand to come in. Please be honest when posting review. The night stands were on back order and the customer decided not to wait for them to come back into stock after he said that he would wait.

Thank you

Review: I purchased a sectional from inland empire furniture and one of the sections has multiple tears in it. The company states right on the homepage that all products have a one year warranty. I have contacted them and told them the problem. The lady, [redacted], that I spoke with told me that she would resolve the issue. However, I have not been able to contact anyone for about a month the resolve the issue. I called and got a quote to get the product fixed and I offered to have my brother in law deliver a new section and she has not got back with me.Desired Settlement: I would be happy with an exchange or refund.

This is a false review. We do have a 1 year warranty and would be in business for over 10 years if we did not honor it.

Thank you

Review: In July 2012 I purchased a California-King canopy bed, two night stands and a dresser from Inland Empire Furniture. When it arrived (several weeks late), the night stands and dresser were badly damaged and I rejected half the delivery, but accepted the bed. I had chosen this furniture because it was advertised as solid wood. The furniture is NOT solid wood. Most of the wooden panels are cheap particle board with a stuck-on wood veneer. The mouldings are made of moulded resin and foam and then painted to look like wood. I have many photographs to back this up. The overall quality and workmanship is extremely poor, and my heart sank as I realised that I had been sold a very inferior product.

I contacted Inland Empire Furniture, who, after many phone calls and un-answered messages finally agreed (by cell phone text) to refund my payment. I still have this text message as proof.

In spite of repeated phone calls, texts and emails to them over the last YEAR, they have still not refunded my money.

They make many promises on their website about warranties, shopper protection, Revdex.com. In my experience - all of these claims are completely false.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the money that I paid: $3,720.

+2

And although he did not follow instructions, he was indeed refunded.
