Review: Fraud. Company disappeared with my Documents and deposit.

My Name is [redacted], I'm 22 years old. I'm also a USA Citizen, and for that reason I was applying for my parent's Green Card. I decided to go to Immigration Service Center because they seem a serious business. I went there about a year ago, February or March of 2012. the employees there helped me out and informed me of all the information I needed to apply for my parent's permanent residence. I took all the documentation that was needed. I provided them with my Birth Certificate, My SSN, and I believe my driver's license number as well. I also provided them with my parent's birth Certificates both of them, as well as their marriage Certificate. I was asked to provided them with some photos copies of parents too, and I did. the Immigration Service Center also requested a down payment of $ 1,000 dollars to start the paper work, and I also provided them with that money(I still have the receipt)weeks passed by and they were processing everything. they told me they were going to contact me with any information they have. and they were supposedly keeping me update, but months passed and I didn't receive a call or anything, so I decided to call them, and they said they were still in the process, at this time I was going to college, and also working. I believed them, and I stayed with my usual routines. a few more months passed, and I got worried again, and I called again, and no one answered or returned my called, at this time I was going through my finals at school, so I was staying busy most of the time, and that made me kind of forgot about the case. I recently went to go visit my family to Mexico, and they asked me how things were going. that's when I decided to go to their office personally, and not wait for their phone call anymore. I went to their location in Modesto. when I got there, I found out that they weren't there anymore. they apparently moved, and are no where to be found! I try calling the owner of this building where they were located at, to see if he had any information about them, or any idea of where they moved. the owner of this building named [redacted] said that I wasn't the first person calling for information about this business, Immigration Service Center. He didn't have much information about them, but he gave me all he had, which was the name and number of the owner of Immigration Service Center. I will provide the name and number of this person at the end of this letter. I'm writing this complaint because I'm really concern and worried about what happened with my case and the paperwork they had. they have all my personal information and documentation. they could easily use it irresponsibly and dishonor my identity. I'm just asking for a fair response and recovery of my documentation, and my money back, if possible. Once again, the name of the business is; Immigration Service Center. The Name of the owner is, [redacted] this is his phone number, (XXX) XXX XXXX. I didn't attempt to call him because I believe it would be better if a professional company speaks to him, if they can get a hold of hm. Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint. I hope to hear soon from Revdex.com.

sincerely,

[redacted].Desired Settlement: I'm seeking for a recovery of my money and paperwork without any damage in my record. The sooner the better. I need to start again from the beginning to apply for my parents Green Card. in order to do that, I need to have all my paperwork back, and make sure everything is in order. with no surprises in my record or anything that will affect my identity. thank you.

sincerely,
