I'd like to break my review into two categoriesThe initial tile work, and then the willingness and follow through to correct issues Dan' s work is generally excellentI would consider him honest and his crew are capable and detailed orientedCorners and grout lines are straight, bull noses are clean, and the job is levelHe deserves four or five stars here However, one of his installers screwed up a shower niche and Dan has spent the past months promising to come fix it and flaking or rescheduling repeatedlyHe really can't be trusted to 'own' customer satisfaction Originally, he blamed the general contractor on the mix-up, but I was very clear that HIS crew were in the wrongHe spent a year agreeing and now he is back to blaming someone else The fix would take one of his guys a few hours, but it makes my shower shelf completely non functionalI think he is just too busy to care about his work after he has moved on to a new job If you need tile work, I think that you will most likely be very happy with Dan, but don't expect him to own up to mistakes or take responsibility to rectify(in all fairness, he is still offering to come fix it "sometime" but months is too long alreadyI have little confidence that he qill ever show up) I am easy to find on the internetIf you want to talk with me about hiring Dan, I would be more than happy to speak with you [redacted] ***
