Dick Brooks Honda overnighted a check to pay the overdraft fee. Thanks,***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
*** ***

It has never been our intent to be at odds with *** ***The statement that Dick Brooks knew fully well who has the tag, is not true. If we did, this would have been resolved five years ago. We have always done what we thought would help. We have no reason not to I want this person caught as much as the ***. They are my customer and I only want the best for themThis tag, other than the day it was issued, became invalid when we reported it stolen to the SCDMV. It never has been renewed or taxed or a renewal validation sticker issued for it by the SCDMV. Friday, 10/02/15, after talking to the Sheriff’s Department, who could not help me, I visited with the *** Police Department and we went thru our entire file, document by document. The officer was of the opinion, that we could not prove the tag stolen, but would take the information to a supervisor. I laid out as compelling of an argument as I could, that since it has not been an active tag and that it apparently is being used in violation of law and has been out of circulation as a valid tag for five years, that it is stolen This morning at 10:00, the officer from the *** police Department came back to my office with their decision. The *** Police Dept has placed the tag in the national data base as a stolen tag. If the tag has a valid date on it, it is a forgery or someone from the SCDMV is illegally supplying it. However, this person will be caught eventuallyIf another state pulls up this tag number to issue a violation, it will show stolen, according to the officer. We were under the impression that when we reported the tag stolen, that we had done all that was necessary. Obviously, we have learned that you can report a tag stolen to the police just as you do a car. So we have accomplished all that we can do with the authoritiesHowever, I have requested Honda Motor Company to furnish me the names and vehicle ID numbers for all the Honda Civics that we sold in April and May of if they can If they do, I am going to have one of my employees to re-enter every vin number into Honda’s warranty system, to see if any service or repairs have been made to one of them in the area where the fraudulent tag is being usedIf I am successful, I will get that name to the police.I regret all the frustration that this has caused for my customer, the *** and my employees who have tried to deal with this. Thank you,** *** GM

---------- Forwarded message ----------From* ** ***Date: Tue, Sep 29, at 2:PMSubject: RE: You have a new message from the Revdex.com serving Upstate South Carolina: complaint #***To: ***This tag was reported stolen in 2010.
We reported it to the highway department. The tag has long been out of dateIt is not an active tag. It apparently is being used by someone who avoids paying a toll booth fee in New Jersey and their camera shows the SC tag number. We have talked to the SC highway department in *** and verified that the tag is a dead tag and has no connection to these folks. They are being threatened by another state for payment for the toll fees or they will lose their driver’s license. The South Carolina Highway Department’s supervisor has told us that can’t happen. We have supplied all of this information to the customer to forward to the State in question and to their lawyer and we have sent multiple letters to *** *** along with the same informationThere is nothing else that Dick Brooks Honda can do. Yours truly** *** GM

Dear ***,
Yes,the tag was reported stolen, but to the DMV not the highway department as you have stated in your responseThe tag is NOT out of dateWe have received moving violations from multiple states where the vehicle using the tag *** has been photographed with current tags dated 5-So your statement is not accurate*** you are not fully correct when you refer to this vehicle as violating a toll in New JerseyThere are multiple violations: 10/21/parking fines in Hampton,VA,2/20/running a red light in Newark, 10/5/speeding in Washington, DC,10/7/speeding in Washington,DC,10/13/parking ticket in New York, 05/03/toll violation in Maryland and 8/11/toll violationNow mind you each photo of the vehicle involved in the violations displays the insignia Dick Brooks on the trunk and the tag *** and current tags corresponding to each yearNow lets address your statement that you have spoken with *** Highway Department when indeed it was not you, but *** ***, who stated she spoke with the DMV in ***, but she was unable to get anywhere with the situationIt was I *** *** , who spoke with *** *** at the *** DMV and was told the same thing as *** ***If this tag is dead as per *** *** and in no way connected to us(*** ***) then why are all the moving violations being mailed to us? So there is obviously a connection to us*** *** states that he was told by SC highway department supervisor has told them this would not happenThat communication has never be offered to usThis our position, the vehicle in question came from Dick Brooks and the plate *** was issued to Dick Brooks as I have the letter stating they were in possession of the plateWhen we approached the dealership on the 8/11/violation we were told by the current title clerk that there was a note placed in the system at DMV that this was NOT a stolen plateWhen the evidence clearly without a doubt shows that this is indeed a stolen plate and according to *** ***Property Tax Supervisor for Greenville County, SC taxes have never been billed for a plate *** so that for the last five years that this plate has been in use it has been illegallyWe feel Dick Brooks knows full well who is using this plate as they were the ones that had possession of itThey meaning Dick Brooks need to report the license plate stolen to the sheriff department so that it can be placed in the central data system so when that plate is ran it comes up as stolen
