I wanted an in line connector on my furnace so I could hook up a generator when the power goes off I only needed for iRepair to break the power line going to the furnace an put in a plug so I could unplug the furnace from the main power line and plug it into the generator
On 10/2/18, switches were put in instead of the plug and iRepair leftI could not hook up to my generator so I called them and told them to fix it right
On 10/3/18, a different person came to drop off a cord about inches long with a male plug at both endsHe said I could plug use it to connect the cord of my generator to a female plugI told him that a cord with male plugs at both ends was a direct violation of the electrical codeI wanted him to leave it so I could show it to Layton City Code Enforcement but he left, taking the cord with himI called iRepair the same day and told them I wanted them to fix it rightI was told that my money would be refundedAs of 11/1/18,the money had not been r

Pay attention to the other reviews and avoid these guysTerrible company with dishonest employeesI have Phil come out for a furnace tune upI wasn’t home at the time so he called and told me he was picking up CO levels of 3-parts per million and that I needed a new furnaceHe turned off my furnace due to regulationsI called my home warrantee company who charged me to send someone else out to verify the problemHe spent twice the time at my home and did a much more thorough inspection and found nothingAfter reading online, only readings of around ppm require attention but according to Phil, 3-ppm not only requires attention but a brand new furnaceSo I had to pay two company’s to do the job of one

I got a flyer in the moneymailer coupons from Famous Appliance Service I called and scheduled a "$21point-tune-up, carbon monoxide check & FREE filter" I own a duplex so wanted to get both units checked iRepair Heating & Air showed up for the appointment, I was never told that a different company would be coming One furnace passed the inspection, but the other one I was told had a carbon monoxide leak and would need to be replaced The serviceman, Phil Adams, was extremely niceHe turned off the furnace and I used electric heaters over night The next day I got a second opinion from another business I also had a carbon monoxide tester used in my unit, the kind that firemen use, and there was NO trace of carbon monoxide!!!! This is a terrible thing to do to tell people to turn off their furnacesand NOTHING was wrong!!!
