My complaint is a customer service and repair issue. I dropped off my personal computer on Thursday August 20, 2015 and explained that it would not power up properly and come on. The tech was then shaking, turning the monitor upside down, right side up and said did you drop it. I said no. The technician then mention the fees and tell mean that my computer will be ready on Saturday the 22nd 2015. When I arrived at the repair store be customer service agent was assisting another customer. I stood there or 15 minutes waiting for her to acknowledge me. and she did not. I asked the young lady was a someone who can assist me today. she replied I am the only person working up front. after waiting another 10 minutes for her assistance she check on the status of my computer. the technician came out and said mam we are so far behind I have not had the chance to look at your computer. but I promise to do it today before I go home.ann said did you drop it. I said no. The technician then meet in this please and how mean that my computer will be ready on saturday august 22nd 2015. But I promise to do it today before I go home. When I arrive to pick up my computer I was tow that my computer is not working and the charge is $50. repair issue is that I was promised that my computer would be working and I will only pay a $79.99 fee for the repair. I have to apologize for the Customer Service rep, and we took steps on training her on how to properly respond to customers during busy times. Regarding your computer, our policy is we charge a non-refundable diagnostic fee, that is credited towards your repair, if a repair is possible. This is stated in our service repair contract. Unfortunately, we cannot spent hours working on a device, trying to isolate the problem, without a diagnostic fee. With electronics, some repair are just not cost effective.. in your case, the logic board was damaged beyond repair.. and a new logic board would cost hundreds of dollars.. perhaps more than the value of the laptop. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience you received while in our shop, and I would like to compensate you with a 50% off voucher for any future repairs.
