Complaint When I test drove the vehicle there was a noise on the passenger side of the vehicle in which the salesperson at the dealership said would be fixed and he would put it on the list for their repair shop. When I turned on the A/C and had the door opened the vehicle made a ticking noise and I told the salesperson and he said he would put that on the list called "WE OWE" for the repair as well to fix. I purchased a 2003 Cadillac CTS from ifinance on July the 1st (a Wednesday) and had the vehicle two days when the other problems began. I got off work and got in the vehicle and the there was standing water in the vehicle the floorboards were wet, the surface surrounding the sunroof, the back seat, the interior of the entire car was wet. The dealership did not open until 9am at which I called and spoke to someone explained the issue and the lady said she would call me back I waited an hour and I did not receive a phone back. I decided to drive to the dealership. As I was driving it was raining and I turned I on the windshield wipers. Shortly after my drive the rain stopped and attempted to turn the wipers off and they would not go off. Minutes later the windshield wipers turned off on their own. I then stopped at a traffic light and the wipers came on again and the switch was not turned on an automatic setting. The windshield wipers continued to go on and off at random throughout my drive. Once I pulled up at the dealership I had my paperwork in hand because I wanted my money back. The receptionist had me waiting for about 30 minutes and then she gave me a sticky note with a name and number to call and stated that they do not handle that situation there. I called the number and talked to the man (Corey Scruggs) and he hung up in my face once I told him I wanted my money back while my mother was on the phone. I then called back without my mother on the phone and told him again I wanted my money back he then replied that I have a signed contract that included a 30-Day warranty with them and I have to allow them to fix the vehicle and if they can not fix the problems then I can receive my money back or another vehicle. He said he will give me a loaner vehicle off their lot that I could drive until my vehicle is fixed. I was given the keys to an Chevy Impala. I had to constantly call the repair shop and ask what was going on with my vehicle. Fifteen days later, I receive the Cadillac back and the manager at the mechanic shop told me that the strut was rusted and was replaced along with the tire rod was replaced. I asked him about the leakage in the vehicle and the explained that some piece was flushed out because it was clogged and shouldn't happen again. I then asked home about the windshield wipers turning on and off randomly and he stated that his mechanic drove the vehicle and it did not happen to him during the drive, but if it happens again to bring it back to them. I then continued and ask him about the ticking noise and he said, Oh don't worry about that. That is the compressor turning on and off. I drove off their parking lot on a Friday and went home. The next day the weather was hot so I turned the A/C and the air was very cool. I then approached a red light and sat at that red light for a moment and the air was no longer cool it was hot air. I then got on the expressway and the air was blowing again cool air and when I slowed down and got to another red light the A/C was blowing yet again hot air. I tried to adjust the temperature and setting on the dials and there was no improvement. due to the hot weather and no properly working A/C I let the windows down. Once I did that the windshield wipers began to come randomly and stayed on for approximately three minutes. I parked the car at a convenient store took the key out and that when the wipers stopped. When I back in the car the wipers came on again and stayed on for a minute. I then went home and stayed there for the remainder of the day. Sunday I did not drive the vehicle at anytime. Monday I attempt to take the car to the repair shop and I was driving 40mph and suddenly the vehicle deceased speed automatically and there was a prompt that said reduced power ESC is off. I continued to try and accelerate but couldn't. The car would not exceed 10mph and the speed limit was 40mph. I then pulled into a gas station and called the dealership and they called the repair shop then a tow truck arrived at my location and towed the vehicle to the repair shop and I rode with it. Once I arrive at the repair shop and the manager told me that he did not know exactly when it would be fixed and to call the dealership concerning the matter and I did. I called the car lot and explained to them the situation and they again directed me to Corey Scruggs. I called and told him that the car has been towed and it is back at the repair shop. He said ok. I said well I still need transportation so I needed a loaner vehicle. He then stated the he had to contact the finance company and the repair shop and see if I qualify to receive a loaner depending on how long it would take to fix the issue. I said well you didn't do that the last time and he said that was a one time thing. Mr. Scruggs then told me he would call me back and let me know the response. Nine days and several unanswered phone calls later to the salesman cell number (Al) and Corey Scruggs I called the dealership's phone and talked to someone and she said that she couldn't do anything until she heard from Corey. I then called Al from a friend's phone and he answered and I then explained the situation and he called Corey. Corey finally answered the phone for me and asked was my car insurance current and I said yes and then said was car payment current and I said no. I continued to say that I haven't had the vehicle not even a whole week and he said that's our policy. Once your car payment is paid and I am notified it is paid you can go pick up a loaner vehicle. I hung up the phone and decided to pay the car note because I needed to get back and forth to my two jobs. After I made the payment I then got a ride to the dealership and Al gave my the keys and a temporary drive out to yet another vehicle. I have paid two car notes and the third is due. I am on a bi- weekly payment plan. Approximately four weeks have gone by and the repair shop's receptionist told me several different things when I question about the car on many different occasions. One minute the mechanic is looking at it, then it had to go to the Cadillac Shop to get a computer module put in. Then I called and the Cadillac is back at the original repair shop their is a miss in the engine. Another time, I called and talked to the rep. at the shop and he says that the car has electrical issues and he does think the dealership would want to put that amount of money into the vehicle and when I asked to talk to the manager he said that he was on vacation call Monday after 10am. I called Monday and the Manger (Robert) was not in as I was told. I called again Tuesday and Robert answered the phone and I told him what I was told and he then asked me have I talked to Corey and I then said no he does not answer my calls anymore for some reason even when I call from other numbers I get no answer. He said he tried to call Corey concerning my vehicle and he hasn't returned his calls either. Robert said to me that their is a miss in the engine and the technician can not find the reason on why or where the miss is coming from and their is an electrical which could or could not be the reason for the miss in the engine he didn't know. Desired SettlementI feel like I am being taken advantage of by the dealership because I am of female gender and a young adult. My calls are not being answered and I keep getting the run around. The 2003 Cadillac CTS has only been in my possession for a total of four days and in the shop 95% of the time. I just want my money back. I want my down payment and the car payments I have paid back. Business Response We have called Ms. [redacted] on several occasions with no response. It was determined that her vehicle problem was not warrantable being an electrical problem. Unfortunately the warranty covers engine (internal parts only), transmission, and drive train. We can offer to put Ms. [redacted] in another vehicle and credit any payments she has made towards the purchase price of another vehicle.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not accept their response because this company has lost my trust. I do not trust any vehicle that they would offer me will be reliable or dependable. iFinance has not called my phone at any time in an attempt to do anything but to collect a car payment. I just want my money back so I can move on with my search in finding a vehicle. Final Business Response

Leased a product WAY over value, when it messed up a SHORT time later they didn't care.I leased a 04 CHEVY trailblazer. For almost 13 thousand. I know I shouldn't have but I was in a crazy bind and needed a ride to work. About 4 months later my trans went out.I called the dealer ship for help considering I work 2 miles from my job , the vehicle was barely driven. The told me they couldn't do anything for me, so I offered to give it back and pay another whole down payment on another one if I didn't lose all the money I put into it. They pretty much laughed at me. Never buy a car here overpriced and something is usually wrong with them I have talked to several of their customer's out of the 7 I know only one was happy with them.Desired SettlementI would like my money back and it off my credit. I feel as if they knew the vehicle was as already messed up. They knew my vehicle was messed up I told them I would miss two payments trying to fix the problem they already knew about and before I could fix it they repo it on me. They set me up bad.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXContact Email: [redacted]@ifinancememphis.comThe agreed price for the customers vehicle was $8999 not $13000. At I Finance all of our vehicles come with a engine and transmission warranty.Unfortunately the customers warranty had expired. We would never knowingly sell a vehicle that was "messed up" . We do deal in used vehicles and put warranties on all of our cars.

I was purchasing a car from I finance in nesbit ms. I have been doing a tote the note weekly payment for about 10 months in the amount of 88.00 + a $3 fee. I also have been paying them $78 per month for "insurance" I haven't had any serious issues with the car aside from regular up keep (tires, battery, etc) but I had been having constant issues with the GPS tracker system THEY installed. It sometimes malfunctioned to the point my car would not start without having to jimmy the loose wire dangling from underneath the steering wheel. It has done this several times and I've called in to alert them each time this was going on. So two weeks ago it (the GPS) was constantly beeping while I was driving and after I uncranked it. It was very very annoying especially when I am up to date on all of my payments. So on September 17, 2015 I had just left the doctors office die to severe asthma. I came home and the GPS was beeping as if it was playing a tune non stop so I finally called in to tell them this was happening. The lady at Ifinance by the name of [redacted] told me "its not supposed to be doing that so I will send a code to it" this was around 4:00 in the afternoon. I went back out to the car to go pick up my medicine and go the the er I was having major breathing issues only for the car not to start. I called over 10 times and received no answer and the ended up closing so I was stranded. I called everyone I could including the owner only to get a runaround. I finally got the shop that they work with they came to tow the car and had it until the following Friday and told me they had absolutely no clue what was going on with it. When all during this time I had been reaching out to the owner and I asked him about a loaner car while it was in their possession. He said he'd check on it and never got back to me. He did tell me I wasn't responsible for payment while his place had the car.so I got it back that friday took it to a dealer and they repoed it from there without warning.I only missed 1week paymProduct_Or_Service: CarOrder_Number: N/aAccount_Number: N/aDesired SettlementI would like I finance to give me the car back I've faithfully and on time paid for nearly a year! On the 25th of February of this year, I put a down payment of fifteen hundred dollars on a 4D red 07 Toyota Camry at I Finance LLC. On [redacted] The same day I purchased the vehicle I noticed that the gauge wasn?t reading correctly. The ABS and Brake came on, followed by the speed thermometer, odometer, and temp thermometer dropping down to zero. After noticing this I also noticed while slowing down to prepare for complete stop my car would shake. I immediately called my sales representative ([redacted]) at I finance [redacted] location ((XXX)XXX-XXXX). [redacted] then told me to call the repair line (XXX) XXX-XXXX. After calling this number I was directed to [redacted] then told me to take the vehicle to [redacted] at [redacted] at [redacted], ** XXXXX (XXX) XXX-XXXX. I took the vehicle to the [redacted] around 4 pm and waited 30 minutes before anyone could look at my car. After waiting for [redacted] test drive my vehicle, followed by checking my battery. [redacted] then told me that he didn?t find anything wrong with the car. After Leaving I noticed the issue again and recorded the gauge while driving. On February 26th, I had a friend drop the vehicle off because I was at work. Around 11 am, the vehicle was dropped off at the [redacted] service station. My friend [redacted] also showed [redacted] the video of the gauges dropping before he left the service station. The hours of operation for this service station is from 8am-5pm. I called the [redacted] at 2 pm and asked them if they had figured out what was wrong with my vehicle. [redacted] then told me that he hadn?t gotten a chance to check my vehicle. At 4:45 pm I went to the service station to check on my vehicle while I was at work. [redacted] was getting in my vehicle alone to test drive it. After waiting 15mins [redacted] came back with the owner of the service station driving. [redacted] then got out of my vehicle and told me that he didn?t exactly know what was wrong with my vehicle and that I should bring my vehicle back Monday, February 29th. On Monday, February the 29th I called the I Finance repair line and spoke with [redacted]. I then told [redacted] that the situation was inequitable and that I would like to receive my down payment back. I also explained to [redacted] that the [redacted] was very small and that they also had a contract with [redacted]; the parking lot was packed with vehicles. [redacted] then told me that it was up to me, but they would have the [redacted] fix my vehicle. I then explained to [redacted] that I would miss days at work because it would take over a week to fix the vehicle. He then nonchalantly told me that I would have to drop it off or drive it like it was. I then asked [redacted] if they would supply me with a vehicle until the Toyota was fixed. [redacted] then told me no. I then asked [redacted] if I could get my down payment back, [redacted] then replied that it was fine. I then called I Finance in [redacted], TN and spoke with [redacted]. I told [redacted] that I was returning my vehicle and getting my down payment back. [redacted] then told me that I couldn?t do that and [redacted] knew that before he told me. Another per[redacted] from I Finance Memphis called and told me to take the vehicle to [redacted] on [redacted], TN. [redacted] then got back on the phone with details. [redacted] then told me to drop my vehicle off on Wednesday, March 2nd. Because of my work schedule, I dropped the vehicle off the following day Thursday, March 3rd around 9:30 am. Around 4:45 pm that evening I called [redacted] to check on my vehicle, The receptionist then told me that there wasn?t any information on my vehicle yet. On Friday, March 4th around 3 pm I called [redacted] again and they told me a number of things wrong with my car followed by telling me that they were waiting for a response from I Finance. I called [redacted] at the Memphis location and asked him when would they be getting my car fixed. [redacted] then responded and told me that it would cost over two thousand dollars to fix my vehicle and that he couldn?t get it approved until Monday, March 7th. Monday, March the 7th I called [redacted] and was told that it would be a few more days before I could get my car fix. On this same day, I asked [redacted] if I could speak with someone with higher authority than him and he replied no. I then called back and spoke with someone else and asked if I could speak with someone over [redacted], and they simply put [redacted] back on the phone. The only solution [redacted] offered was for me to pick the car up and drive it under the dangerous conditions until he was able to get it serviced.Product_Or_Service: Toyota CamryDesired SettlementI have only driven my vehicle seven times and has taken it to the shop three times.
