I Dream of Cakes

I purchased a white, half sheet cake from this bakery for $45.00. The cake was not white, it was grayish yellow, dry, and the icing was greasy and tasteless. It was very disappointing because I got the cake for a special occasion and it was inedible.
I took the cake back to them at their request, only to be told that while the cake was a teeny bit dry, there was nothing wrong with it, their "white" cakes are always that color, and they would only return $15 to me, explaining that even though I thought the cake was bad, I was still required to pay for their labor for making and decorating it. Then, I was informed that I was the "only one" who ever complained, which, of course, is not important to me.
Since they did not admit to making a mistake, instead claiming that the cakes are always made in this fashion, I would not recommend this bakery to anyone. Who would want a dry and tasteless cake?
