Hurricane Carwash

The customer visited the automatic carwash on October 13th and did not report his complaint until October 15th. He reported scratches on his truck and we set a time to meet the next day. Upon looking at the scratches, they looked to be of different depths and even different
directions. The machine spins one direction and would not make vertical marks. The fingers on the machine are made of closed-cell foam and do not absorb fluid or allow debris to cling to them. We did go the extra steps to contact the machine manufacturer and was advised that scratches of this sort do not occur from this type of machinery. After several communications with the customer, we advised him that we didn't believe the scratches came from the carwash. I understand that the customer wishes for us to pay for the scratches to be buffed out, however, this didn't occur at our facility. We have taken care of our customers, and am glad to do so, when our machinery is at fault
