bad place
samir sell manager and erick one of the sales guys were nice until I tried to be clear on the numbers so honestly
If in any way you feel that the actions of this dealer arise for you as a consumer, they can follow a record in these 3 institutions. The truth is that my experience is very negative.

I would have liked to have read the reviews before going to this dealer. It really surprises me a lot the practices of this place to put a lower price than what they actually sell the vehicle just to attract you to buy and then literally force you to buy their packages because it is a very bad practice on their part
Fortunately, there are actions that can be taken so that these types of places are put under review. If you feel that something went wrong with your negotiation and you do not know who to turn to to obtain true information, advise yourself with

These unethical actions on the part of the company should be reported and reviewed as many incidents do not happen without reason

I recently brought my car in for service at this location to correct a bad alignment job done at another. I had noticed my steering wheel was not centered and crooked. I took my car to the original location where service was done and the issue was not corrected. I then contacted the Hyundai of Huntington Beach. I had explained that I had done an alignment service at another location and that the steering wheel was crooked. I asked specifically if this issue could be corrected over the phone before I made the appointment and drove from La Habra to Huntington Beach. On the phone I was quote $89 dollars. Upon arriving at the location I was greeted by Ben. Before undertaking any work I SPECIFICALLY stated what my problem was. That it was due to the alignment being done poorly and had not been there prior to the alignment being done at another location. I had asked before doing the work "can this issue be corrected?", I had stated "I know I may be a little OCD but this is a big issue for me and I want this corrected". Before agreeing for any work to be done I wanted to make sure this issue was correctable. I was told the price was now 160 due to my request and for the steering wheel and the alignment to be aligned it would be an increased cost. After the work was done the same issue persisted. I immediately took the car back and spoke with Ben, he had the head technician take my car for a test dive. He drove my manual car completely poorly, practically grinding each shift. I was aghast. He could not drive standard. I was furious. He then said nothing was wrong, and that the steering wheel was never mentioned to him, just the alignment. I told him I specifically came because of the steering wheel issue. It was mentioned in the work order. Afterward I had asked if the issue could be corrected and I was told "not unless you spend thousands of dollars redoing your front end." If I was told that it could not be done. I would have not agreed to the work being done.

Simple: do not do any business or buy a car from this dealer.
The finance team (Lance) is a liar...they say the service plan covers oil change, tire rotation, and filter cap replacement...it does not...it's actually not even recognized by most Hyundai service providers b/c it's through fidelity (a third party). It only covers up to $40 when the minimum it cost for the service on your car like oil change is $80-$140. They make it seem like paying for it monthly is basically paying for your car service that happens with each mileage milestone. It's not. This is only half of the terrible experience dealing with this dealer...
Both GM do not have the slightest clue what customer service it (tony and gary)...when I got my car it looked fine but after going home I noticed some scratches on the hood and trunk (covered up by the wax they give every new car) when I brought it back it took half the day to "take a look at it" only to come out the same... Gary (one of the gms) proceeded to tell me all black cars have scratch on them. After this I completed my Hyundai survey in which I answered and gave feedback accordingly. The next day I get a call from Tony (the other gm) saying "does he deserve this score...after all he did for me. I contacted north america hyundai and tried to address my issue and it seems like the dealer did not cooperate with them. This is unprofessional and simply unacceptable. I was patient with them but all they want is for you to sign the paper and their customer service stops there. Unreal.

I had gone to Huntington Beach Hyundai with the thought of purchasing a certified ore-owned vehicle with a pre-approval letter from Capital one. The letter stated that Capital One had partnered with Huntington Beach Hyundai to offer their clients good offers on their current vehicles. I call the dealer and advised them of my letter which they agreed was true and told me to come on in and bring the pre-approval letter along with my iD and most current paystubs. However, when I arrived at the dealer I was greated for like 2-3 minutes then left waiting for 3 hours while every now and then she would come and tell me that she was talking to her manager about if I qualified for a vehicle. At the end of the 3 hours she tells me that I qualify for a brand new 2019 Hyundai Elantra and to get ready to test drive it. I told her that why wasn’t I approve for a used vehicle like I wanted and also I wanted a sonata. She told me that this was what the bank would offer only; which made no sense to me. By bank I thought she meant Capital one since I thought they had given me the loan. Well I ask her how much is the car and how much are my monthly payments going to be. She never told me the amount of the car but she told me that my monthly payments were going to be $450. I tell her I can’t afford that and that was the reason why I wanted a used Hyundai Sonata. She says they don’t have any in stock when I know I seen a few outside but I don’t want to argue so I leave and tell them I can’t afford that vehicle. I was still eager to get another vehicle since I I have the preapproval from capital one. Well when I go to another Hyundai dealership located in garden grove that’s when they tell me that Huntington Beach Hyundai had ran my credit 9 times and did 9 hard inquiries. I was really upset about that specially since I never authorized them to run my credit and also I had only gone because I thought I was already pre approved. There’s more to my complaint but I’ll stop here due to space

We purchased a three-year-old car here and noticed it had a smoke smell. We were promised the air filters would be changed in the vents. Two weeks later we still smelled smoke and the manager Mike Salas admitted that It had never been done. After that it was done for us. To make us feel better he promised 2 free interior detailing with shampooing of the upholstery. There was another employee with us when this manager Mike promised this, so my husband spoke up and said because there is another employee with him, he is a witness of this agreement. While Mike Salas promised the detailing, we were assured it would be done. When we came back to pick up our car they had never physically cleaned the upholstery. When we realized this because of the continued smoke smell, and smelly upholstery there was new management by then. Because there was nothing in writing our promise for the interior detailing wasn't honored by current management. We are so sad because the smell has very bad affects on my health, and my friends too. While they did do some sort of O-Zone treatment, they didn't detail the car, or even vacuum. And I even found a cigarette lighter under my chair from the former owner after all of this time. More proof that they didn't clean it. One more thing is the communication between the management and the Service Dept.. While the service department gives us great service, but every appointment Mike Salas made for us, the Service Dept. had no idea why we were there and they were absolutely no appointments written down even though the manager gave us an exact day and time to bring our car in. This happened a few times. It's just really sad because we waited a long time to be able to afford this car and really enjoy it, that's all we wanted. If they could've just been willing to shampoo and detail The inside of our car, at least we would feel that they genuinely cared for us as people. I continue to have to repeat airing out my vents. And because nothing was detailed I used my own cleaning equipment to scrub upholstery and rugs to the best of my ability.
