Review: The Funeral Home offered services that they did not complete. We paid the funeral home for the death certificate but the funeral home did not give us the copies we went to the registrar's office and obtained corrected copies after three attempts by the funeral home. We were offered a register system from the funeral home that we purchased for $175.00 we had to send it back to the funeral home for corrections. The funeral home made two corrections but stated in a reply letter dated June 11, 2013 that copies cannot be reprinted. We were charged for a burial permit but our mother is cremated. Why were we charged for a burial permit?Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the death certificate, burial permit and the register system because we paid for services that [redacted] did adhere to our family. This funeral home should be investigated.

This particular case had multiple contact people, (not just [redacted]) where information was miscommunicated to the funeral home. As a funeral home, we can only work with the information that is provided to us at the time of the arrangment. We did make attempts to rectify some of the issues mentioned in the complaints, but we never heard from the family again. We feel that the best way to resolve these complaints is by contacting everyone who was involved so that everyone is in agreement with the changes that need to be made.
