We purchased a wall unit in excess of $4,from Houzz with an expected delivery date of January 19th through January 26th, As of February 5th nothing was in our possessionThe third/fourth party delivery company came to our house, pulled into our driveway with a rented "Budget Rent a Truck" the drivers refused to exit the vehicle and told my husband to unload the furniture himself
When we contacted Houzz the stated that they needed to "Contact the Seller"-- Houzz is not the seller and does not have control over anything, (take a look at http://www.***.com to see what customers and sellers think of Houzz)We offered to pay the driver of the Budget Rent a Truck $to unload the items and carry them into our house -- but again thy refused
Houzz is juts a front and will not do anything to help you in any situationSave your self time, money and a major headache- buy directly from "the Seller" in this case was: ***.comAll of the items they sell include White glove inside delivery and setup in room of choice
It appears that Houzz is taking the $delivery svalue and pocketing the moneyThis is obvious when you view the exact same item on different sites sold by different companies-- EVERYONE else sells for the same price with inside delivery and set up included

I returned my items on April They were received in Murietta on April However, NO REFUND has been received by me and it is May 23! I emailed Houzz and they asked for my tracking numbersI sent them and STILL did not receive a refundI then called and talked to an apparently well-under educated 'customer service' agent who talked over me to the point that we could not communicateAfter listening to lame excuses, ie: 'we'll see if the vendor received it' 'we're waiting for the vendor to respond' 'we'll check the tracking', I asked for a supervisorThe supervisor gave me the same lame excuses even though I had already emailed them the tracking numbers! What is the point of using Houzz if I have to manage my own returns??? That's right, NO POINT IN USING HOUZZ, ever againOh yeah, and the "service" agent hung up on me while transferring me to a supervisorBAD SERVICE, CHEATING CUSTOMERS OUT OF REFUNDS!!!!!!!!

On 26 August 2016, I placed order # XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX for one unit of Porc-a-fix porcelain repair glaze white AS-1. The cost, including free shipping, was $13.95.

On 29 August 2016, I was informed by email that Houzz had "been unable to obtain payment from the credit card used" and that I must update the payment method.

The credit card is a VISA card #XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted VISA via telephone X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. I spoke with the department supervisor, Victor, employee #XXXXX. Victor informed me that Houzz had submitted a bill for a recurring monthly charge for $13.95 rather than a one time charge of $13.95. The card is not authorized for a recurring charge and VISA declined payment.

I spoke with Carly, customer service supervisor at Houzz, employee [redacted] phone number (XXX) XXX-XXXX. I informed her that I had made a "one time purchase" and not a recurring purchase. Carly informed me that Houzz automatically sets up accounts as recurring and that I could either cancel the order or provide another method of payment. I canceled the order and informed her that the recurring charge was unauthorized and constitutes fraud. I also pointed out that VISA apparently considered it fraud also since they declined the charge. Her response amounted to that it was not her problem and that she would pass my comments on to her management.

CHARGED ME FOR MY PURCHASE - 2 DAYS LATER CANCELED MY ORDER BECAUSE THEY DECIDED THEY DIDN'T WANT TO CHARGE ME THE SALE PRICE - OVER ONE WEEK TO GET MY MONEY BACK - BECAUSE OF THIS I LOST THE OPTION OF PURCHASING MY BACK UP OPTION - DIDN'T CONTACT ME BACK TO HELP RESOLVE THE ISSUE - HUGEEE WASTE OF TIME
