On 4/7/2017 department received a snowblower from [redacted]. As per shop policy, the gasoline in the snowblower was tested resulting in a "black" swab reading alerting the technician that the gasoline was bad. Cy S[redacted], our tech, removed 1.6 liters of stale gasoline...
and added 500 ml of fresh shop gas. After the fresh gas and a spray of carburetor cleaner the unit ran without issue. Our tech noticed that the chute linkage was not put together properly and that the drive linkage and shoes needed to be adjusted. In April our priority is warm weather equipment so the gas was run dry and the unit was stored until October when we begin working on cold weather equipment. On 10-18-2017 our tech retrieved the unit from storage and adjusted the chute linkage, drive linkage and snow shoes. A liter of fresh gas was added to the unit arid it was started and ran without issue for 5 minutes. [redacted] was billed for a half hour labor for the adjustments made to the chute linkage, drive linkage and snow shoes. Unfortunately it is common for customers to unknowingly use stale gas. The unit ran fine before it left the shop and if there exists any current issues with how the unit is running then it is our position that it is likely due to stale gas being used again as is common with unaware customers. Also, the unit not being put together properly is common with equipment bought from large box retailers and not purchased from authorized service dealers. The above issues are not covered under warranty.Eddy P.Parts Manager

Dear [redacted],This is in response to ID [redacted]. Please be advised that we have contacted the customer and will be refunding the money. If you have any additional questions, please contact me at [redacted].Best Regards,
The unit was put together either by the customer or the store he bought it from incorrect but either way the manufacturer will not pay for that repair. The chute & reverse is an adjustment not a repair. Nothing to cover under warranty. Since so upset got [redacted] to cover all but $12.00 to satisfy the customer.
Review: On or about mid June 2013 I had this company pick up my riding mower be tuned up. They stated it would take approximately 1 week. On July 26th they were paid for the repairs (put in aa carborator) and tune up of $561.26. The delivery person dropped the mower off and left. Started it up it ran for a moment the belt broke and the mower stopped. It was again picked up; taken back to the shop where another belt was installed and I was charged. This took until the end of August at which time they dropped if off again and it started but when you went to put it in gear it would stop running. They took it back to their service shop and told me that a safety feature wasn't hooked up properly that they would call when it was ready. By the end of September I called to ask if I was ever going to get my mower back before it snowed the gentlemen told me that they didn't even realize they had it. So $700 something later I received the mower back in October. It started up and I put it away. Got it out to cut the grass today and the belt broke again. So after paying all of this money I have never actually been able to use this riding mower.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded.
