Review: I, [redacted], went to Horizon Eye Care Group in [redacted] Pennsylvania on [redacted] to have the prescription on my glasses fixed. I was notified that I shouldn't have them checked until after my pregnancy was done. When I went to Horizon Eye Care Group, I was given a specific prescription and told I would receive my glasses in 3 weeks time. When I received my glasses, I assumed the prescription was wrong because my eyes were still blurry. The individual who performed the first prescription test told me it was because my eyes needed to adjust. So I should wait until the morning to put the glasses on and it would be fine. It wasn't. I went back Horizon Eye Care Group and was then notified that I'd have to have my eyes retested, another prescription put in, have the glasses sent back out to have them redone and wait another 3 weeks or less. At this point I told Horizon Eye Care Group, I that I felt this had gone on long enough and has gone too far. I just want my money back. I was told in an unprofessional manner that I was not getting my money back. They have a 30 day guarantee and that I had no choice but to let them fix it. I went in today, May 20th 2014, I spoke to the person who did my prescription test, after notifying him that all the prescriptions he showed me on the equipment he used were blurry, he responded with "Your eyes are just tired." He proceeded to explain that the glasses would be on a rush, 1 week or less. And again, after the 30 days has passed, I was then notified that the case is still open so it's still under guarantee and that I would be getting no money back as a return.

This Horizon Eye Care Group has deplorable customer service and medical service skills. They do not provide the proper atmosphere to conduct business as the office is filthy. Their eye professionals are ignorant and unprofessional. The office staff is rude and unprofessional.

I went in for a service, did not receive anything close to what an individual should expect from a professional business. Eye care is important, I have a child and need my glasses to drive. I cannot put my child in a car and drive it with my eyes being blurry. All I expect is that if you get paid to do a job, do it and do it right. They received a second opportunity within the 30 days to fix it and they didn't. So all I expect then is to have my money returned to me. They are refusing, holding my money hostage while they take their time attempting to give me glasses with a prescription that weren't right when the last person just sent them out on the 20th of May 2014.Desired Settlement: Refund my money in full, placed on my credit card. They can keep the glasses, I don't want anything to do with this place after this is resolved.
