Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Honda of Staten Island regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Just spoke to the customer. Seems like there was confusion regarding a loaner car and him getting a new car. I apologized regarding the confusion. I informed him to see Jeff the service manager and he will be provided a loaner car.

I want to resolve this matter. I left the customer a message. I would love to speak to him. I am waiting for a call back. Thanks, Angelo [redacted]

Revdex.com:
On November **, 2015 I met with the Honda mechanic Manager Jeff and the sale representative Mabel. Jeff implied that I was being charged an additional $110 for labor for the additional labor involved with replacing the bolt and nut. I stated to him in the presence of Mabel...

that mechanics don't get paid labor based on the amount of parts needing replaced but are paid for labor by the hour. I stated the mechanic worked on my car for one hour and 15 minutes, which entitles the mechanic to be paid $110 for the hour he worked on the breaks and $27.50 for the 15 minutes it took to replace the passenger side wheel bolt and nut. I asked for a refund of $87.50.Jeff agreed to refund me $87.50. I am waiting for a check via postal mail to be sent to my son's address which is the address the dealership has for me on file. (see receipt attached with the refund amount signed by Jeff)I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Review: I had purchased a Honda CRV from Honda of Staten island in NY on the 08/**/2013. My customer no is [redacted]. The stock no is [redacted]. I have not yet received my license plates from them. I have called them multiple time but they tell me to call later, I have also emailed the GM at [redacted] but I have not received any respond from them. My New york state in transit permit expires on 09/**/2013and also my insurance on this car will be cancelled on 09/**/2013 due to non availability of the license plate. The car has been standing in my parking lot for a month and I cannot drive it as they would not realize my license plate. I had to even pay for the insurance $119.00 and the car payment $276.59 without driving my car. I did not even receive a spare tire that comes with the car on asking them they told us that the car came without a spare tire I fail to understand how the certified car could come without a spare tire from the dealer.Desired Settlement: I want my license plate soon as possible and I want the Honda to compensate me for my payments and insurance till I receive my license plates. I even want my spare tire that comes with my car

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Good morning,

The dealer have contacted me I paid them for my liscence plates $270. Which was quite expensive. They have promised me to mail it to me but I have not received it yet.

Review: On November **, 2015 I went to Honda of Staten Island/ S.G. Hylan Motors Corp. located at [redacted] to have my front breaks repaired. I met with sales rep Mabel R[redacted] and asked that I see the required repairs before any were made on my vehicle. She and I went to the car while it was on the lift and spoke with the mechanic who stated my front breaks needed to have the rotors replaced and a nut and bolt replaced on the front passenger side wheel. Ms R[redacted] stated there would not be an additional charge on the labor to have the front bolt and nut replaced on the front wheel and that the labor would be charged one time for the total repair of the vehicle.

I was quoted an estimate of $189.00 for the rotor and break pads using a coupon which I received via postal mail, and the charge for the bolt would be $12.80, $5.70 for the nut and $110.00 for labor. I was told the time necessary to make the repairs would be about an hour which would include labor. Ms. R[redacted] provided me an estimate of $319.00 for the repairs, excluding tax.

In actuality I was charged a total of $419.39 for the cost of the repairs because they charged me an additional labor fee of $110.00 for replacing the nut and bolt on the wheel by line itemizing the repair as if the mechanic would not have had tor remove the wheels on the car to replace the rotor and break pads. (I was charged $110 labor fee twice)

I feel this is deceptive practice and an additional $110 for labor to replace a nut an bolt is at best excessive.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on the second charge of $110 (plus tax) for labor of replacing the bolt and nut on the front passenger side wheel. The total labor on the repairs in inclusive in the bill already and I should have been charged twice.

Review: I bought a 2008 new Honda Civic from this dealership. My sales contract guarantees me free oil changes up to 100,000 miles as long as I own the car. I went in for my oil change (56,000 miles on car) and after arguing with the [redacted] I was given a card for the oil change. I went to the Service Dept. and handed the card in. He gave me back the card and told me to go see the [redacted] again. I went and this time the man tore up the card and said "We don't do this any more". I had a copy of my contract with me and was still shown the door. The owners refused to honor the contract. What good is doing business with a company that won't honor their own contract. There goes trust and reliability, out the window.Desired Settlement: Refund the cash equivalent for oil changes(9)at $30 each or the oil changes I was guaranteed up to 100,000 miles.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Staten Island Nissan Honda regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I filed suit against them in Small Claims Court on April [redacted]. They received the summons on April [redacted] and called me regarding case. The gentleman said he would try to resolve the issue and call on Monday, April [redacted]. Since that last call I have had no further contact with them.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: Quoted $209 per month to lease 2013 Honda Civic..Turned in car (2010 Honda Accord) as lease expired then told the lease price is $231 (for the Civic) for 36 months ( not made aware that the original $209 was for a 39 month lease). The 39 month lease was with [redacted] which runs past warranty (again not told about that at first meeting). The new real lease is with [redacted]. Salesperson never disclosed any of this info during first meeting--only after the former car was already turned in. This is a bait and switch scheme. It was either take the Civic for $231, have a lease where the vechicle is not under warranty for the last 3 months or have no car because the 2010 was already turned in.Desired Settlement: The lease should be $209 per month as originally agreed to.

Sincerely,

Review: I recently had my Honda civic serviced there a routine oil change which is suppose to last five thousand miles . at the three thousand mile mark my service light came on and said I had to change the oil again. knowing that staten island Honda probably did a shaddy oil job on my car I went to a different Honda dealer for my next oil change and I was right they told me that for one my oil filter was never changed at the staten island Honda service department even though I was charged for it and that particular Honda service department has a bad reputation of using slightly used engine oil that's why I didn't get my full five thousand miles so I paid for a service that was false and not new. please investigate them im sure there ripping off hundreds of honest peopleDesired Settlement: its theft I don't like being robbed and I don't like the fact that they get away with so yes I want a free honest new oil change
