I Paid $1400 for tax tags and doc fees. The moneys was used for something else.I paid in a check of $140.00 and the money was used for a down payment. I later got a bill from the Dmv for and additional $180.00. [redacted] informed me that the Tax and tags was included in the $1400.00Desired SettlementI wanted my tags to b e paid for. That was the verbal agreement.

I was not advised when I gave permission to check my credit for HONDA they would use it to check any other places without my permission.NEITHER OF THE ADDRESSES ABOVE ARE THE ONE I HAVE FOR HONDA OF ROANOKE RAPIDS THEY DID SAY THIS WAS NEW. THE LOCATION ADDRESS I HAVE IS 403 PREMIER BLVD ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC. On 1/31/2014 I filled out paper work for HONDA OF ROANOKE RAPIDS to check my credit to finance a car with HONDA so I could co-sign with my daughter to get a car. It ended up being done 14 times that I am aware of so far I am not sure it there are more or not. I called today 2/15/2014 and spoke with [redacted] the General Manager and questioned him about this and he said they did it to get the best rates. I explained to him I was not advised it would be used more than one time and I did not give them permission to do that and all those inquires would affect my credit score and he advised me that inquires did not affect a credit score and I read him the statement on my credit report that it did. His answer again was they were trying to get the best rates and that it would not affect my score for those inquires. I told him I had spoke to the credit bureau and they said if they would write a letter stating I did not give them permission to do all those checks they could take it off my report. He kept explaining that they did it to get me the best rates each time I ask him why I was told it was for HONDA and not told they would be do all the other places. The list I have so far they had check my credit is [redacted] They told me to call [redacted] and I did which makes the total of 14. The only reason I got for not being advised or ask for anywhere but HONDA was they were trying to get the best rates as I stated previously. I should have been given the opportunity to say call or not to call and how many other places they could call with my information. He also told me that once the [redacted] reported they had financed the car my score would jump up. I don't know if it will or not but it is still not going to make a difference of how it looks to someone that I apply for credit with from now own and they see 14 inquires in one day. It looks like I am desperate for a loan. I have never had 14 inquires on my credit report before and don't know if I have a total much more than that in my whole life and I am ** years old. I explained this to Mr. [redacted] and that I felt this was unfair to me not be told that they would use the application I filled out for a car loan numerous times to get the best rates or told how many times they use it. I would not have known about it for a long time or until I applied for a loan somewhere else and had a problem with my credit report having to many inquires on it except my report is being monitored because of the issues with [redacted] They saw it. I may have problems getting anything else for along time because of these inquires and there are probably a lot of other people that have had problems or are having problems now because of it. I have gotten car loans for myself in the past and not co-signing and never had anything like this done before by a dealership or anywhere else. It is just not right. Everything should be up front for the customer to read and understand before this is done to anyone and HONDA OF ROANOKE RAPIDS should have to get permission from the customer to do it. They should have gotten my permission before making all of these inquires. None of the people there would not knowingly have allowed it to be done to them.Desired SettlementI have ask Mr. [redacted] to give me a letter for all of the credit bureaus stating that I did not request credit from any of those places that they sent an application to except HONDA and it was done without my permission. The credit bureau said they will remove the inquires from my credit reports if it get a letter on their letterhead and signed and dated with the above information. I want these letters sent to me ASAP. Also I want it to be required that anytime someone does an application to purchase a car at HONDA OF ROANOKE RAPIDS that they have to be give the customer a statement saying their application may be used at more than one location to get the best rates. They should have to give the customer the opportunity to say yes or no to each place they want to send the application to before they send it and have to give their permission for each inquiry prior to the application being sent. They should have to give the customer the results from each place the application is sent to so the customer can see what the results are and then be advised where they plan to try next and get the permission of the customer before they send the application again to another place. This procedure should be done over and over with each place the application is sent. The customer should be involved in each step of trying to get the loan and rates. This way the customer has control of inquires on their credit report and makes all the decisions after they review the results from each place their information has been sent and whether to continue on somewhere else or stop. I know they are in business to sell a car but it shouldn't be to sell a car no matter how all the things they do affects the customer when they leave there.Business Response I have given Mrs. [redacted] the docs need to resolve her matter with the credit bureau.Thanks[redacted]

I have been dealing with[redacted] and she told me at the time of the refinance of the loan that my gap was cancel [redacted] said it can't be done that way. saying they have to cancel it. I have asked him numerous time to cancel the loan he has not cancel. yesterday 03/18/2015 I called him and he said that I have 3 sales mananger in the office and "i am going to hang up on her. cause he said basically I have been doing this for over 25 years and I know what I am doing and arguing with me. cause he felt like I am insulting his intelligence. he has continually refuse to cancel my gap. I spoke to [redacted]. he said that all you have to do is go to Honda of Roanoke rapids and cancel the gap insurance you can cancel it anytime. since my gap was cancel in august of 2014 as per mrs[redacted] of [redacted] and I voluntary repo my car I should get the refund. cause Honda of Roanoke rapids was the saler. they issue the check. [redacted] is making a big deal out of nothing. I am tired of this. I contact [redacted] and ms [redacted] of [redacted]. got involed and ms [redacted] and she has spoken to [redacted] and he refused to cancel with her. I sent in to cancel to [redacted] and called [redacted] and no. all [redacted] have to do is cancel the gap and issue the check. and since I am the customer he said on the phone and he thought I didn't hear him. I am going to hang up the phone. I will never deal with them again. that is rude and his sales manager 3 heard him. I don't care what is feeling was I didn't get rude with him. Hi: My name is [redacted] and I purchased a 2011 Nissan Maxima from Honda of Roanoke Rapids, NC on April 8, 2014. I was also advised that this vehicle was leased; therefore any damages would have been charged to the leaser. There is no way if so I wouldn't be filing this complaint. Prior to me purchasing this vehicle, I signed a form indicating that this vehicle has not been in any accidents clearly what the [redacted] stated. However, this vehicle has been in a serious collision. I begin to notice several things wrong with the vehicle such as the front bumper shifting casuing the headlight to relocate from the original slot. Also, the left fender wall has relocated and bent atually. There are two holes in the carpert on the driver side which was covered with paper. The front winshield has an extensive crack located below the windshield wipers by the vin number which will spread and shatter once the weather turns hot. All of the parts on the left driver side are after market parts which are not designed for the vehicle since they are not fitting appropraitely and lined up accordingly. When I wind the driver window down, its making a loud noise as if its' going to crack. There is duck tape on a hose underneath the hood. The rubber that underneath the hood to prevent water from entering is painted over with black paint. The hood is not attached according with the front bumper causing it not to line up and lifting the front bumper up. . I attempted to return the vehicle to the company for a replacement but they refused being that the other vehicle that they had available costs $4000.00 more than mines in which my vehicle cost 20000.00 which is to much money for it to have all of these problems. The damages that were done to this vehicle were done prior to me purchasing it; therefore, it is not my responsibility to fix these repairs which will cost over $4000.00, and I just paid over twenty thousand for this vehicle. I refuse to give them another dime or fix this vehicle. The front end will wear tires due to front end collision. I think this vehicle should be replaced with the another vehicle of the exact same model and features of the one I purchased. The paint job that was done is not the same two colors with pocketholes visible. Both of the front doors are touching the front fender when opening scaring the paint on the edges of both doors. A certified insurance adjuster pointed out all issues out to me and my insurance company refuses to fix this vehicle being that it was not an accident on my behalf. Business Response We received this first and only letter today. I [redacted] GM of Honda of Roanoke Rapids have talked with Ms. [redacted] on several occasions. Right after she bought the car we offered to allow her to purchase her trade in vehicle. We even offered to giver her in used car allowance what she paid on the maxima, however she refused. We then found several other max with less miles but for more money, she refused. The carfax history is clean on this car. the max she bought is a used vehicle with XXXXX miles. Therefore, it will not preform like a new car. The car was purchased with no warranty.If I can help any further please do not hesitate to call.[redacted]XXX-XXX-XXXXConsumer Response Fair is fair now that car shouldn't had all of these problems whether it was used or not and I understand brought the car used in which I have brought several used cars and they didn't come with 3/4 body damage and a cracked windshield with a falling bumper when you hit pot holes in the road. Why should I pay additional money 4 another used vehicle when it I had just made this purchase for 20k. Yes I refused to pay another dime for another vehicle. A vehicle that cost 20k shouldn't left the lot in that condition. No they had two max and one wasn't even equipped with the same features n costed more and I sure did refuse.They were asking me to pay more money and I just carried them a check. Then on top of this all I was informed that this vehicle was leased. Leased vehicles don't leave a lot like that in condition At the end of the lease if that car has any damage then the person has to pay 4 them damages. I truly feel this car is not safe for me and my family. While I am driving it down the road the front bumper pops out of place more and more eventually its gonna fall off, and I'm going to run over it then what. My bank even called and tried to compromise with these people and nothing was done but they wanted me to pay more money and she said no because if the dealer wanted to they could've accommodated me with this issue instead they wanted more money. The bottom line is they are a dealership that sells car without inspecting them thoroughly. The doors,hood,and bumper needs to be replaced. So why pay 20k for a car if its not gonna preform at least half way well. The going price for a new 1 is 30k and up,so I expected better quality and performance out of this vehicle than what I have now. I want my car fixed or replaced at no expense to me. By the time they fix and replace the parts they will spend over 2k to 4k so what is the problem. I have brought several vehicles and this is the worst experience ever. When a customer leaves a lot he or she should feel confident about your purchase and have confidence in the company, so in the future you will return to another vehicle but not to worry. I will not purchase another used vehicle from this company.
