Review: I've signed up with Home Study Careers back in April in 2000 to obtain my GED and was told it would be credited in all 50 states guaranteed. I've received a diploma and transcript showing my grades. At the time of purchase of $200 they where located at [redacted] and phone number was ###-###-####. I just recently found out that this program was a fraud and the diploma I received will not be accepted by any school or work place. I've tried calling them to see what the problem is with this diploma but the number is disconnected. So I've done a little research on them for myself and found out that it is indeed a scam. So this is a reason why I'm making a complaint I've been deceived by this company and want to know what other steps I should take far as getting a refund or some type of closure now that I know this diploma is no good and me having to go obtain a GED at the age of 32 now, which would make me feel extremely embarrassed.
