Josh is deceitful and dishonest. He did save a friends home, but she had to pay an exorbitant rate. My situation was different. I clearly told him what kind of a deal I was looking for and explicitly stated that if he could not get me a "really good deal" that I had investors waiting to buy me out. Josh assured me that he cold get my mortgage modified to one with an excellent rate and a reduction in principle. He failed! It cost me $4000 to get the same deal the bank was offering before I hired Him. As far as I am concerned homemodificationusa inc is a scam.

Josh , when we first sat down with him, was very optimistic and confident that he could get us a good deal on a home modification. 4 month and $,3800 we got the same deal we would have gotten on are own. Before we started I was very clear about what I was looking for in a deal, and specifically said that if this is the best deal I could get then he should not bother, but he assured me he could get me a better deal. He failed. I would have been better off just paying a lawyer $1200 to file my papers, which is what I have to do now, anyways. I feel totally ripped off.

Review: We spoke with [redacted] about doing a home modification on our mortgage. After sitting down with him and explaining our situation, he led us to believe that we were eligible and he was submitting our paperwork and working on our behalf. After paying him several hundred dollars and seeing no progress we made several phone calls before we were able to get through to him. He then informed us that he had not submitted our paperwork and demanded more money. When I refused and kept pressing he informed us that we were in fact not eligible for the home modification. When we went in person to talk to him and to ask for our money back he refused and slammed the door in our faces. Unprofessional lying company that preys on people in hard times.Desired Settlement: Refund of all our payment back.

[redacted] came to our office, Home Modification USA, for us to help them get a loan modification. Home Modification USA completed all the necessary paperwork and submitted them to Wells Fargo, their mortgage lender as agreed in their contract. Wells Fargo called our office requesting updated information that we needed from [redacted]. Afer calling her numerous times and leaving messages, her and her husband finally came to office. Home Modifictaion USA never demanded more money nor did [redacted] pay us $1,500 that she is stating in her complaint. We never slammed the door in their faces as she stated in her compliant. Home Modification did do work in her behalf. We never took advantage of her. We do not prey on people who are in need of our services. In fact we help people save their homes and have been very successful at it.

Home Modification USA has fullfilled our contract agreement as per their agreement.
