Review: Upon entering the business I asked if there was a fee to use Debit for purchase and the merchant said "yes". And that fee was .35 cent, so I was ok with that. After making my purchase I noticed my receipt had $5.99 cash back when I was only given $5.00 cash back. When I asked why; he said they charge to use the debit feature and also a surcharge. I stated that should be made clear to the customer and I was under the impression that I could only be charged once for using the debit feature. He insisted that this was legal and that nothing was free," to get out of his store". I took a picture of the debit machine area and left his store. The fee should be stated as an additional fee and not as money that I received as cash back. this is not fair and should be made very clear to customers. I kept my receipt for evidence that he put the fee as cash back that I received when I didn't.Desired Settlement: I want my $.99 back from this establishment, because he should have made that clear and not put it down as cash back I received when it was a fee charge.
