this company was on our preferred listing for repairs for garage door openings. we utilized their services in September of 2015 for a repair they recommended that was not covered under [redacted] warranty. today, just 6 months later, they do not honor their own warranty for their repairs. now we have to utilize another company to repair what they would not cover under their own warranty at a tune of $450 paid to them for a service they do not honorProduct_Or_Service: Garage Door OpenerOrder_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired Settlementrefund for services they do not honorBusiness Response Customer called the second or third week in March she was given a 5 year parts warranty and a 90 day labor warranty on 11/5/2015 when I spoke with her I asked her if the issue she was having was with any of the parts we installed and/or were they broken because then we would replace them. She told me no and said it was doing the same thing as the first time we came out for service through [redacted] I proceeded to tell her if the issue was not with one of the parts we installed her 90 day labor warranty was expired and it would be in her best interest to call the warranty company ([redacted] because they cover all parts for her motor/opener and we also gave her the option of us returning but it would be a $75.00 service fee for the visit because the 90 day labor warranty was expired. We are also not allowed to repair a [redacted]customers motor/opener as it is under warranty through them and that would void our contract with them. She called us back later that afternoon and stated she called [redacted]and they sent out a contractor and all he did was turn a screw on the back of the opener which is not a part we installed for the customer and again are not allowed to repair her opener unless its through [redacted] Her 5 year parts warranty covers the Springs, torsion Tube, Drums, Cables, Bearing plates and center bearing which is all part of her door not covered through her contract with [redacted]
