Review: We purchased a used RV from Holiday RV Sales on May 2, 2013. About the third week in June, we contacted them to let them know we had not received the title and plates and that a check with the DMV showed the VIN to be registered, but not in our name. We were told "[redacted]" was the person to talk to and he was not available, but would call us back. After not receiving a call back, we again called several more times each time getting the same message that he would call us back. In mid July, we were put in contact with [redacted], who said she would find out what was happening and get back to us. She did return our call and told us they didn't have the title, but that they had contacted the previous owner who was coming by later that day to take care of it, and that she would call us back on Aug 7 to make sure we had gotten it. She did call back on Aug 7 and we told her we had not heard anything. She said she would check on it, and again, have [redacted] call us. We waited until Sept 9 and again called. This time [redacted] was very rude and stated "I can't make him ([redacted]) call you. I only answer phones here. And I'm not handling this anymore." Again - no call back. It is now Sept 18,2013, and the camping season is over. We still have no title or plates, and no resolution to this problem and it is over 4 months since this nightmare started. I have been told by many dealers and the DMV since that time that it is illegal for a dealer to even put a vehicle on the lot without having the title in hand.Desired Settlement: We want the title and plates for our camper so we can use it.

In response to your e-mail of 10/5/2013, I received a phone call from [redacted] on Friday Sept. 27, 2013 stating that he now had the title "in his hands" and "would personally deliver it to the DMV on Monday Sept. 30,2013." I have heard nothing since that time and have not as yet received the title. I did inform him that I had filed a complaint with Revdex.com, but I am assuming he was already aware of that and that is why he was finally doing something to resolve this issue. I will let you know if and when I receive the title. Thank you for your assistance.

Review: I had reserved a campsite at Holiday Shores last Aug upon departing from last year’s three day stay. The reservation was for this upcoming Aug in 2014. We, along with another couple who have camped there many times together, decided not to return and had requested in person over the phone cancelation and refund of our paid deposit of $45.00. Our friends had left their deposit on a credit card and were refunded immediately. Because we had left our deposit in cash, ours was to be refunded via check sent to our home. After about a month, the check had not arrived, I called back again to request the refund check be sent. The individual at Holiday Shores apologized for forgetting, saying it would be sent out. About another month went by, no check. This time I called back and spoke with [redacted], who may be an owner or manager. [redacted] apologized and promised refund would be sent that day. After over a week of again, NO refund check coming I called back and asked for [redacted]. Upon sharing with her my extreme frustration, she very rudely said how busy she was, and I should not complain and then hung up on me. Upon calling back again, I told her I could not believe the absolute rude treatment I had just received from her when I was calling to discuss my dissatisfaction. It has now been over three months since originally canceling this site, NO REFUND after five calls later. The customer services with Holiday Shores is unacceptable as is the fact that I have NO campsite reserved and they have neglected to refund my cash or make any attempt at rectifying or apologizing for this situation.Desired Settlement: I believe a full apology for the rude treatment as well as a refcund, and at this point, additional restituaion for MY time in having to call 5 times without resolution and the the three plus months they havew held my money! But really, it is more of a principle of the situation at this point that it is NOT ok to treat customers that way.
