We hired J2J Painting to paint our house and garage in April 2016, we signed a contract on May 5th for $and they requested 1/up front and remainder upon completion *** and *** *** who run this company were in our dining room while we signed and paid and we were told it would take to weeks to finish They both showed up and started painting our foundation on a Saturday They painted a few hours and left, *** showed up the next Tuesday and painted for an hour That weekend I called and asked them when they would be coming back They did not returned call until day later and said that they would be there Monday Now it is going on weeks since we signed/paid and I began thinking we were conned Needless to say that months later, police reports submitted, numerous excuses given and still do not have our house painted Once I started looking into this company and these persons I found out that they have taken money from numerous people and then not completed the work I went to our local court house and the ***'s have been sued 20-times by various person/companies for non payment Currently they live on Avenue A in Canton, IL and are not at the Linn Street address listed in Revdex.com website We had to take them to small claims court where we were awarded most of our money back but have yet to receive any Just beware of J2J Painting from Canton, IL no matter what address they may use
