Hershel's Custom Signs

With this complaint, I dealt with *** *** and the business name as I was told is "*** *** ***" and no "***'s" anywhere in the name. The company did pay me upfront for the work of $which was for ($for the lighted face, $for installation, and $for the disposal fee
of the old sign) I was late due to the artwork since I was waiting on *** and *** to provide approvals. I did receive a note from *** about changes to the sign of what she wanted but this is the only contact I have had with ***. Then, *** came down the next day with his concepts. The day I went to install the sign, it was the wrong size. I was told to create a 4'x8' sign which is even stated in the complaint and that is the size given to me. *** provided the measurements for the sign to me. I had to take the sign back for sizing. We did return the old sign to him but I have the correct measurements to cut the new sign down so it will fit in their space.There is a part that did come loose in the old sign but it is not broken. I have one side cut down with the correct measurements and will be able to finish but I do feel that my company should be compensated for the additional work which we have had to do for sizing issues provided by *** *** . I followed their instructions and if it was not correct, I should not be penalized. For the resizing labor, I am looking at an additional $in costs

This sometimes happensEvery day for weeks on end he would call me several times during the dayWe are a man operationI informed him I do have other customers as wellAfter we dug the holes and fit the structureIt rained, steel does rust but with primer and paint it should be fineThere was a delay because the front hole was full of water from that rainThe front of the sign sankWe jacked it back up to get it levelWe had not poured any concrete yet so it was not a problemHe says he hired the surveyor but the surveyor says he did the job for freeI've known him for yearsWhen the concrete came I ordered it a certain way but the surveyor changed the mixI informed *** I could not be held liable for the changesI requested it be done a certain way because I knew that it would workI could not guarantee what the new mix would doThe surveyor said to wait for it to set up and harden and not to touch it until he returned from his hunting tripThis was to be about daysIt turns out that the hunting trip was longer than days but I did not touch the concreteThe surveyor could not be reached by phone so nothing was doneThe surveyor should not have been brought in to assist in what I was doing*** came to my office one evening throwing a fit yelling at my wife and running off one of my customersAt that point I was doneI was not going to take any more abuseI did refuse his calls for a while because he would talk over me during his phone callsThe purchase price $15,and he gave me $8,as a depositHe has a disputed amount of $7,This was supposed to be paid to me when the job was finishedI was never given this amountHe says he needed to hire someone else to complete the job and this may be true because I refused to complete the jobWorking with him was a complete headacheI have voicemail proof
