BEWARE of getting anything at Hermitage tire. I took my 2013 Lexus with 36k miles on it, and got 4 new tires installed; however, when I picked it up, my tpms (tire pressure monitoring system no longer worked. I was told to drive a few miles and they would reset. Keep in mind, my tpms worked perfectly fine before I took them my car. After a few days, my tpms was still not working so I took my car back to Hermitage tire. After they had my vehicle less than 10 minutes, I was told that the front 2 batteries in my sensors were dead and that wasn't anything they could fix there. I told them they were working perfectly fine before and was then told that it happens to those batteries sometimes. I then took my car to the Lexus dealer and they found out that the reason the 2 front sensors weren't working because they were aftermarket sensors that were NEW sensors and happen to be the same brand as the tire I had just bought. After a few phone calls back and forth, they agreed to refunding the $424 I had spent on the sensors, but still not admitting to being the one's that put them on there. They had even said they pulled the tape to review the video but was too "grainy" to see what happened. It wasn't until I went by there to collect the refund that they FINALLY admitted to breaking my sensors and replacing them with 2 new ones. I spoke with the owner , [redacted], and he seemed very non chalant and didn't really seem to care about my perspective. He said this was a learning experience and he hated I had to be the guinea pig. He also mentioned during our conversation that one of the days we were calling asking for him that he was unreachable and that right or wrong he liked to at least take off once a month to spend time with family. Was he trying to make me feel bad? Why would you say that to a customer of whom you almost screwed out of $424. Anyway at least they did make it right; however, it took me and [redacted] calling multiple times for them to do that. So be careful with this business. In my situation, they either lied about it from the get go and tried to sweep in under the rug and get by with it, or they are negligent with their customers. Neither situation is ok with me! #rantover
