First off Helmholt HomeBuyers Inc had know involvement in this particular propertySecondly the property was already bought with the foundation work already completed prior to closingMr*** was given a LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY
by the company who did indeed do the workHe also had a home inspection on this propertyWe received a call from Mr*** on 7-2-stating that he has been trying to get a hold of the company who did do the work two years priorHe was unsuccessful on doing so and had asked us for helpSo we also tried calling the company who did do the work two years ago several times and we too were unsuccessfulWe let Mr*** know that we had a call into the company the SAME day he called us for help, he replied "thank you sir"Then we followed up with him on 7-3-letting him know we too were unsuccessfulHe then claimed that he thought the pump was not working in his sump pumpWe advised him to call a company to check the pump out and to get the pump working again if indeed that's what it was so his basement would remain dry, and to even call his insurance company to make a claimThe pump I believe only had a year warranty anyways which is pretty standardIt is up to the homeowner to maintain the maintenance on there home, have there equipment serviced regularly, and to make sure everything is in good working orderFor example there heating and cooling systems, gutters, sump pumps, ect, that's routine home maintenance and is the responsibility of being a homeownerWe did receive another call from Mr*** on 7-14-stating that he still never heard back from the company who did do the workHe did state he had serv pro come out and said it would be about $5k in damagesHe did say that he was going to be contacting a Lawyer and possibly the Revdex.com on the company who did the work, not sure why he made a claim on us, because again we were not involved on this part of the house is was done prior to us taking owner shipMr*** even THANKED us for trying to lead him in the right direction, so not sure what this is all about, and we even have everything documented through his voicemail's!!
